i use an at&t phone line with an at&t filter with at&t modem - the internet connection is a constant babysitting job with this modem. the filter cause constant disruption on my landline phone. it has been a terrible experience from reliability of connection perspective - completely unreliable with this modem. i rated value for money just as bad because of the constant connection issue with this modem.

AT&T is not worth your money. I can not believe that I put up with this company for over a year. I have never encountered such horrid tech support, if you can even call it "support". My internet speed was absolutely pitiful and I would always disconnect. Needless to say, I am thrilled to finally be able to switch from this provider.

HORRIBLE speed! SLOW SLOW SLOW! I'm charged for elite speed but the speed I get is like dial up. So slow & the support people you talk to make it plain they don't belief you so much as state "I find that hard to believe". Then they try to put their slowness on my computer instead of their lousy service. I would NEVER! recommend ATT internet service to anyone.

I've had service from AT&T since they bought out Bellsouth. I've been totally disappointed since; the customer service is way below standard. After wasting hours on phone trying to speak with someone, who you can not understand,and no resolve to issue at hand. Do not start service with this company if you wish to keep your sanity. I'm fed up and will finally try to fine service elsewhere .

I got AT&T after I couldn't find another provider because I had entered into a commitment with T-Mobile. When I couldn't find another provider, I decided to use AT&T. They promised that I would pay $19.00 per month and all of a sudden, they were charging $35.00 per month. I talked until I was blue in the face. I went to the Public Utility Commission. AT&T had "typed up" erroneous charges, they were not computer generated! I refused to pay! And, now, they have collection folk after me. I told them they did not inform me of the change in rates and I wasn't going to pay it. There service is BAD, the company's honesty is BAD, and I have to wonder how this is going to end up! If they want my little $117 that badly, they are going to have to fight for it. Time Warner is bad also, but at least they tell you when they are going to screw you!

Constant Disconnects, 8 month Billing issue that never seems to get resolved. They keep on giving us new account numbers to try to correct the issue. Horrid customer service and internet service. avoid at all costs.

With DSL you have to know the line quality and distance to the switching office or equipment. I am less than a mile from the switch and have clean line, get 6.4mb on 6mb connection. Service is extremely reliable, one short outage in 6 years. If you change your service plan, expect major problems, when I dropped land line to go DSL only, my service was messed up for almost two months, first no service for four weeks (they let me use my iPhone with no tethering charge),then the wrong speed. The people at the local AT&T store were great and finally worked it out. AT&T is very good as long as you do not change anything.

At one point though I was paying for 18 MBS download speed, I was getting 0.16 to 0.31 MBS - shut down my Roku and was so slow I couldn't effectively access any browser on the internet.
