Reviewers Comments: First VOIP service. Switch over from ATT (paying over $80 a month), now only
paying between $26-$32. Sound quality is good, some times gets a little static for
a few seconds. Have not got any service problems at all. Instant dial tone, and
tone when phone is left on. Features are great, my favorites are the blacklist
(stops annoying callers with a message saying "the number you are calling is no
longer in service"), Follow Me (can set up 3 lines with different number of rings, I
have it set up for 4 rings at home, 3 rings to a mobile phone, and 3 rings to
another mobile phone so we never miss a call) and forward on no internet (in
case power or internet goes down, you can still receive incoming call through a
other number). In order to use these features you need to log on to ITP
website, and enter the numbers you want to be used for all features.
Setup was not free. its $29.95 for activation fees and $14.95 for shipping and
handling. but i was also charged for the first month service of $19.99, which
should be free according to ITP. Contacted ITP via email and it was refunded
back 2 days after sending a email to ITP. Other thing is you will see to charges on
every bill is $1.99 for ITP Line Fee, and $1.99 for E911 Recovery Fee. and of
course FCC Universal Service Fee. Phone number porting took 5 weeks, it actualy
would of taken 3 weeks, but I made a mistake in the LOA form. (ITP saids it can
take up to 60 days to complete transfer) Customer service is only available on
weekdays betweens certain hours. Emails are replied to in about a day. Have to
pay extra for fax $9.99.
But other then that the service is great and will not switch back to regular
landlines any time soon. |
