Waste of money, I tried almost 2 months to fix the problem but just no way for that. They are good only at getting your money.

I ordered a device, got returned, I ordered again, got returned. When I called two times to search for it, the system asked for phone number and an account ID, I entered both. It said the account ID did not match the phone number on the account. Been dealing with this for a month and a half, plus every time I logged in, the password didn't work. I have reset this every time I log in. I think they're getting too big to handle even the small accounts.

I've had magic jack for well over a decade, and the service is pretty decent but the spam calls are a problem. It's a real hassle to deal with Spam calls. You have to go on their website to actually put the number in and go through this and that just to block a call. You don't have any way of just clicking a button and having that call listed as spam like you do on your cell phone. I use a regular cordless phone for magicJack and to be honest, I don't think it's worth it anymore. Customer service is not good anymore.

Magicjack keeps charging even after the service was deactivated and they don't reimburse or respond to emails/requests. There are better VoIP options these days. Don't work with them.

I had MagicJack since it cost 9.99 a year. It was not great service but it was cheap. If we had an issue I could call and they would help fix it. The bad part is if a tech signed into your computer and started going through folders there was no one to report it to. This is out of the Philippines and they work out of their homes. You can not talk to a supervisor. I STUPIDLY set up this product with my husband's name because I am in my 60s and that's what we did. So fast forward the last time we paid, we paid for 5 years. In the 5 years we had some spotty service and disconnected calls but all in all, it worked. This last year we paid for 3 years and they hit us with a brick wall. They disconnected us and we have not had texting or phone service for a month. Not only that but my husband is the only one that can talk to them and even though when we first called in he permitted three calls in a row. I am trying to follow up on those calls, calls that took over 4 hours. Yesterday my husband passed out on the floor while we tried to get through to customer service. I thought he had a heart attack and died, the issues with trying to get through their auto system without being disconnected is harrowing. Who are we to complain to? They have the system set up so there are no supervisors, management, or corporate officers to talk to. Today I got a sarcastic girl who said I could not complain to anyone as she would not transfer me. She wanted me to get a notarized statement to add my name to the account then my husband could not talk to them. This did not move their customer service. I spent an additional 3 hours today on this matter but because my husband is not here they would not talk to me even with ticket numbers that clearly showed that my husband had said it was okay to talk to me. When you are not accountable, not in the United States and are sitting at home. I heard birds, dogs, TV and children in the back of my calls your information is not safe, and any info you give them is at risk to be stolen.

They've discontinued Human service to customers and their voicemail is rude and doesn't even cover all possible issues...they just push you to their website and chat which is always a waste of time. I will be leaving them when I find a better service.

Bought years ago, they used to be worthwhile. My main reason for keeping the service was for my wife to make prepaid International calls to her home country, Zambia. Last December, I renewed my subscription and put $40 on the International prepaid calling account. When my wife tried to call her relatives in Zambia, she got a recording saying that due to the high volume of fraud associated with this number, the call was not allowed to go through. Customer service didn't help at all. Then in June, they asked me to renew my subscription again! I had already done so 6 months earlier. I called to confront them about this and wanted to get my $40 prepaid International calling returned because "After 6 months, you forfeit your deposit!" I believe they are now owned by people who are scammers! Buyer BEWARE!

Installed and from the start didn't work. No incoming calls or outgoing calls and no person to talk to for help and so I have to go back to my old phone company and cost me $40.00 for that. Don't get it, waste of time and money.
