The price is very attractive. Sound quality is fine. However, customer service is horrible.
I had monthly plan originally and wanted to switch to Limited Annual after a month. It
took them one month to do that. Then they charged some strange amount for the annual
plan. I asked for an explanation and haven't got an answer yet. Then they charged
monthly amount again! I called and was told, as before, to send an email. Maybe I'll have
to wait another monthly for them to solve the billing issues.
The clarity of the sound is pretty good. My inTalk calls sound as if they are in high-definition.
This is my third VoIP phone line and I am greatly impressed. The previous providers had poor
call quality and customer service ie. Vonage. The setup was simple and the linksys adapter
was a good one. I'''l recommend inTalk to my friends and family because it is definitely worth
the money. I understand inTalk did a great job in staying on top of everything and helping
setting up voicemail and porting is standard. Three weeks later, all in all things are going well.
The clarity of the sound is different, my inTalk calls sound as if they are in
high-definition. This is my first VoIP phone line and I am impressed. The setup was simple
and the linksys adapter was a good one. I've recommended inTalk to my brother and they
transferred his number from Verizon in about 2 weeks. It would be nice if the transfer
process was faster but from what I understand inTalk did a great job in staying on top of
everything and porting is standard. All in all things are going well.
Excellent quality voice communication after I set up my router properly with QOS. Full set of features. My only
significant complaint is lack of caller name ID. Only phone numbers show up for CID info. As far as I can tell
this is the best low cost VoIP around.
Plugged in the adapter and nothing worked. Called customer service and got through in less
than 1 minute. Tried a few things, then the guy told me they would call back in 20
minutes. In 30 minutes, got a call back and after another minute, service was up and
running. Vonage's customer service would never have worked so smoothly.
After Sunrocket and Vonics Digital I got really serious about this VOIP thing. After few more
try, dropped another $50-60 but finally find one. I'm so f... HAPPY. I don't have to check the
line every frigging hour anymore to find out is she working or not. 3 moths past I'm happy as a
dog. 30 days free trial. Specific number blocking, rings, e-mail notification, exc. You got
nothing to lose but gain. We don't have much choice but trying, do we? God bless.
Initially I felt that switching to VoIP was going to be complex and way over my head. I
liked inTalk's web site and their annual unlimited deals seems great so I bought it. The
adapter got shipped to my house by UPS in about 2 days. Installing it was easy and I took a
look at their installation guide within the help center. The clearness of each call is
great and I am surprised how great of a deal their service is.
My husband and I are overjoyed for leaving AT&T and finding a company that actually cares
and the service works well. I hated how AT&T would bill us about $40 for service that
didn't even include long distance. I now pay less than $15 a month and get more from
InTalk. It doesn't take crazy math to understand how much money we are saving. The price is
cheap, I really like how they give the adapter for free and plugging it in was not hard at
all. InTalk is the first VoIP company I have used.
Sunrocket was my first experience with
VoIP and the service they offered was terrific. For
some reason they went out of business and therefore I had to find a new provider. During
the period after sunrocket, I went with Time Warner but couldn't take using them anymore.
I'm sick of the phone companies and will never go back, unless I have no choice. I came
across Intalk and the offer they have for unlimited calling at $200 a year looked good so I
have them a shot. I have been pleased with their control panel interface and the easiness
of setup. They have been nice to me and I will continue using their service.
I first began using
VoIP with Vonage. Vonage's price is reasonable and they seem so popular
I decided to give them a go. I wouldn't rate my experience with Vonage all that bad, but when
I moved I thought I should consider trying a new company. This is when I first came across
inTALK. I don't use my home phone all that much, just once in a while. I really like the plan
I'm on, I pay about $100 for my entire service. I am yet to pay one monthly fee and it's quite
convenient. Phone service is just phone service (if that makes any sense). I chose inTalk
because of the convenience and so far it has been a wonderful experience.
I am new to VoIP. inTalk
was the first company I decided to go with. I made this decision based on the
positive reviews and their good deal. I pay about $200 for an entire year of service. This is compared to the
$48 I spent each month with Verizon.
The first thing that impressed me was the speed of shipping. I used the ground shipping option and got the
adapter in two days. Setting up the adapter was simple, I didn't need to look at any guides and I'm in no way a
technical person. Since using intalk's service the call quality we have experienced has been great. I use my
home phone just to make basic calls and I've been surprised at how good the call quality is. One of the
benefits in going with intalk was the fact it was cheaper, but now when I look at the whole picture intalk has
made my life easier.
Hands down when I compare intalk to
Verizon's triple play, intalk wins. It was nice that Verizon handled one
bill for three services. But when I realized that I was overpaying (which took way too long, over 2 years) I
decided to split everything. I only kept Verizon for internet service and I'm paying about $38 each month. The
other two services are with DIRECTV (directly) and intalk. I pay intalk about $14 each month and its far better
than Verizon. With Verizon I had to pay extra for calls to my family in Ohio (I'm currently in California) and they
would charge all these ridiculous fees on me. This is not the case with intalk, I know what I'm paying for and
love the fact that the adapter comes free. I looked at Vonage when I was planning to switch to
VoIP and they
wanted to charge me like $30 for the adapter. I've used intalk since august and have been happy with all
aspects of the company's service. No more Verizon for me or my family.
InTalk deserves 5 stars all around. Their are quite a few home phone service providers to choose from and
they offer very competitive deals, it was tough to choose Intalk at first. Although after checking their site out I
thought it would be nice to try. They have a 30 day guarantee which helped. So even though they are not the
cheapest, Intalk is still far cheaper than what I was paying before. Quite frankly I'd be kind
of scared to pay so
little for home phone service because I need it to work and don't want to have poor call quality.
I got my adapter box in 3 days and all I had to do was plug it into my router and phone and after about 30
seconds I was able to start calling perfectly. I've emailed their support a few questions and they were fast to
respond, they offer a great service. At this moment it clearly looks like I made the best decision. It also feels
good not paying Qwest for phone service.
The main reason I changed phone service providers was because of price. After paying too much to
Time Warner I decided to start shopping around for a new phone provider, largely because of all the
Vonage
commercials I see everywhere. I did not go with Vonage because they were kinda pricy and I was worried that
I was going to be treated like a typical Time Warner customer. After about a week of talking to people and
visiting sites on the net, I chose intalk. I purchased their services online and I received my adapter in about 3
days. The instructions to setup the adapter were fairly simple, and all calls sound terrific. Looking back I have
trouble understanding why more people don't use VoIP, I'm happy and Intalk
deserves 5 stars.
