Vocalocity is a great supplier. It took a fair amount of time to get set up, due to the delays in getting my numbers ported from various Canadian phone companies. However, once porting was completed, Vocalocity's service and quality was beyond reproach. I've had a few technical issues that required contact with their tech department. I was impressed with their ability to resolve all my issues quickly. I would recommend Vocalocity to anyone interested in adopting VoIP systems.

Vocalocity responded quickly with my first quote and cut my phone bills by 50% over Verizon. The service has been flawless. Their customer service reps are friendly, knowledgable, and willing to help with everything from a simple question to walking me through the website. Garbage. 1. Their website is awful. It is so slow, hard to navigate and worthless. 2. They are way more expensive than anyone else. 3. Their features stink. I was an Aptela customer and I was very happy. Then Vocalocity bought them and it all went to crap! When they migrated me I was down for a day, then I had less features and was paying more. Just switched to Ring Central and so far so good.

Vocalocity acquired Aptela. Switchover was a NIGHTMARE. Now a month after having suffered that, they eliminated all phone service to the country where two thirds of our employees are based. Avoid them like the plague

Not only would I recommend Vocalocity, I have recommended Vocalocity to business associates and friends. Vocalocity's customer service is excellent, the sound quality is great and the cost and lack of long term contracts makes using Vocalocity an easy choice for us.

We are very satisfied with Vocalocity. From initial contact with sales to post installation support and customer service, these guys are fantastic. Rapid response to any questions I've had. Excellent feature list for the price. Many features are in beta right now, and beta features can be added to your account if you are willing to test on a production system. I couldn't think of a single bad thing to say about any aspect of the switch over.

My company has been using Vocalocity for a little over a year now and we have been extremely pleased. We had a lot of problems previously with Verizon, mostly customer service issues, double billing, not billing, getting one answer from one person and then a different answer from the next person you talk to. Final straw was when they cut off service for a day despite the fact we had a credit with the account. One of the primary purposes of moving to Vocalocity was to make sure we could route calls to our cell phones if there were issues with the main line. Until I made the move I didn't realize how much flexibility there could be with the phone service. We really have control of how calls are routed when people call now. Most of the time we let calls just ring through but the ability to route them different ways is great. And we really like the voice-mail feature that emails you when someone leaves a message. The transcription is not always very good but there is an actual audio file attached so you can play the message on your cell phone. Basically you are always aware of who has called you, whether you are in office are not. i was worried how it would affect our internet speed but I have not noticed any deterioration.

they were fast to answer... very patient with my 'newby' questions and concerns even more patient when i re-asked some questions :) i could always get somebody on the phone, if needed. i would recommend them over the other 2 which were offered.

excellent company to work with. Tried a few other providers that "stretched" their marketing material and seemed very unorganized once you work with them. Vocalocity has been spot on with delivering since day one. I've been with them for other 3 years now and would recommend them to ANY sized business. very cost effective with robust features.

Been with Vocalocity for over a year and have several customer's using them as well. Big kudos for the support staff! Always willing to jump into a problem. Some of the feature-set needs further development (fixed holiday calendar's for a start), but they keep churning out new releases all of the time. Having the development staff in-house is key to ensuring up-time as well as adapting to customer needs quickly.

I've been using Vocalocity for about a year and a half. It's excellent. The flexibility of their system is great since we have multiple offices. also, anytime an issue came up, their customer support staff has been great at figuring the issue out and solving it within an hour or 2. I've also sent them an email about having them fix up their voice to text program and they actually listened. I really love their service because they are a large company treating customers like a small company.

We were originally attracted to Vocalocity because of the cost, but because of the lack of features and inconsistency of call queue functionality we are now considering other providers. The call queue malfunctions daily, meaning that people/phones who are not signed in to take queue calls start receiving queue calls. Vocalocity customer service reps, while friendly, never have any explanation for this or an ETA of when it will be resolved. They also do not have global "holiday hours" control on the admin interface -- this means that any time our office will be closed, we have to change the holiday hours on all 16 of our virtual receptionist phone numbers, and the changes cannot be made until the office/phone lines have already closed on the previous day.

We were forced to transferred from another VoIP service this morning and I have to say that it went seamlessly, just like they said it would. I called Tech Support to ask about some of the features that my IP phone had and how to utilize them. I was pleasantly surprised with the service I received. With the old provider, they would give me a case # just to get me off the phone. Very rarely was I able to get what I needed on the first call. Not so with Vocalocity. They were more than helpful. They answered my question the best they could and then transferred me to someone who I was able to get more of a detailed explanation to my original question. Since I had him on the phone, I asked a number of other questions and made a few suggestions to features that I'd like to see added. They submitted my suggestion, and sent me an email with details on how to add my Company Logo to the screen. I never had gotten that much done on one phone call with my previous provider. It's been less than 24 hours since the transfer and 'so far, so good'. I'm more than pleased with the service and look forward to working with Vocalocity.

I have spoken with a few different members over the last several days and I must say it's a breath of fresh air to deal with a company who has patient,helpful,and happy employees. This goes from tech service to general questions. Every call I have made so far was above expectations and EVERY employee did above and beyond what I had inquired about. There was no "pushing it off" to the next representative...the CS rep took it upon her self to fullfill my virtual receptionist when it sounds like was not her responsibility...AWESOME JOB.

Having a business phone system down and inoperable and having the tech lines not available is bad business. I dont know who researched your phone system capabilities but whoever did has no idea what kind of systems a business needs and expects. For a one person business it is fine but not a multiple person business.

My account, systemsupport, was transferred from Aptela last evening. The phones were not working after reboot this morning. I waited on the phone for 45 minutes listening to a recording at which point I gave up and created an on line ticket. After not hearing from Vocalocity for several hours I decided to call again and was lucky enough to reach a very nice young lady who promptly corrected the problems. I recommend that you clone this women as she was both knowledgable and polite and went out of her way to help us. The response from our on line ticket didn't happen until 2:00 pm, approximately 5 hours later. I am giving this another chance due to her courteous service. You should give her a raise!! Was a happy Aptela user until they got bought by Vocalocity. Was forced into the worst Hosted PBX experience ever. I have 2 devices to my extension (1 for office, 1 for home office), and the call routing and activation is clumsy. The voice quality is poor with massive amounts of delay. Even though I have a premium bandwidth plan from Comcast Business, the customer service folks (when I finally got a hold of them) told me there was nothing they could do, "it must be your internet provider". The system has numerous outages, and their customer service number is disconnected. Now, when people call me, it gets routed to the Wall Street Journal customer service line! I have to change, but just don't have the time for the hassle. Wish I had better news.

I recently switched to Vocalocity and so far am very happy with their service. The sales rep was excellent, very responsive. I called customer service several times to assist me with porting my numbers and set-up my phones. Everyone I have spoken to has been knowledgeable and helpful. The hold times can be long if you call in the middle of the day, but once you get someone on the phone it's a good experience.

My small business has used Vocalocity since Feb. 2012. When shopping around for a VOIP phone service, I appreciated their low-key, informative approach, as opposed to some other vendors, who felt like used car salesmen. The daily opportunity to do training on their system was helpful for my staff, and the man who conducted that training was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I've called numerous times for extra help, and Customer Service is always patient and helpful. The one true "issue" I've had was fixed by a diligent Customer Service rep. who stayed late to help me. I'm happy to recommend Vocalocity to anyone!

My sales agent provided all the knowledge and help to make an informed decision. He was able to get our service switched over ahead of time, help process the change and follow up after the sale with porting my numbers over. We have needed a considerable amount of programming and I have been overwhelmed with a corporate move. All customer service personnel have been very helpful although seemingly extremely busy. They have been incredibly helpful and so patient with us. Their recordings and programming have been right on and very helpful for our company. Every time I've spoken with customer service they are knowledgeable, friendly and answer you questions as succinctly as possible. It may take a little bit to get someone on the line depending on the time of day, but definitely worth the wait.

Overall the service and call quality with Vocalocity is good. But we operate in a 24-hour a day environment, and the system tends to go down for maintenance or other unexpected reasons late at night and on weekends. This is crippling for us as it affects our ability to service our customers across the entire U.S. When our phones are down, Vocalocity's phones are down, too. There is absolutely no way to contact tech support after hours. We will be moving to another provider as soon as we're able to make phone calls again!

Those of you that attended Adam Butcher?s packed Cutting Edge Technology class at the ASTI Convention know that business phone systems were a hot topic. Last year based on my recommendation and his research Adam installed a new VOIP phone system from Vocalocity in his business. Folsom Lake Appliance has been using this same phone system for the past 31/2 years and we can?t say enough positive things about it. VoIP stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol. In other words, VoIP is a phone system that works over your high-speed Internet connection. When you dial a number on your VoIP phone the call is sent over the Internet instead of the wires running out of your building. 5 years ago, Folsom Lake Appliance, was suffering from growing pains. We started our business with with two technicians and just two phone lines, supplied by our local phone company. As business grew our phones began ringing more and we hired more technicians. We had to add more phone lines but our phone equipment only allowed 2, so we bought a 4-line phone system. We quickly outgrew the 4-line phone equipment and decided we really needed to find a solution that was going to work now and in the future. While researching several phone systems I found Vocalocity. We haven?t looked back or been happier! We ported all our existing phone numbers to our new Vocalocity account. Now we can record every incoming and/or outgoing phone call to better train our office personnel and refer back to a conversation if there are any issues. Recording has limited a lot of personal phone usage made by our staff increasing their productivity. We can pull reports that show phone calls that last less than a minute to check why appointments weren?t booked. I can also take my VOIP phone across country, and as long as I have a high-speed connection I?m in business and no one knows I?m out of the office. Instead of spending hours deciphering phone bills to see how many calls I got from particular phone number my Vocalocity phone system now reports this for me. If you?re pondering switching to a new VOIP phone system, I say make the switch! The features of this phone system are amazing. I haven?t even begun to list every feature or benefit Vocalocity has provided but we love it. Changing phone systems is a scary process and I recommend Vocalocity to anyone who is shopping for a new phone system.

Great system, Great customer service, they are always ready to help. the consultant that I use "Stephanie" is ever so helpful and extremely patient with me "trust me that is saying a lot". I have not had a problem that Vocalocity could not help me with yet.

Everything was going well until the extra charges were added for local phone calls from cell phone numbers that were ported from Alaska to Texas. Calling anyone with cell phone area codes in Alaska or Hawaii are going to cost you extra by the minute. That was not disclosed at the time of sale.

We're a small Medical Management company in Southern California and had our own PBX, Intertel 5200 with 3 PRIs from ATT. 2 for Voice and 1 for data. After the recession hit we tried to downsize and cut costs. I got rid of the 3 PRIs and got a 9Mbps connection from another ISP which was only half the cost of the previous 3 PRIs. Then I went looking for a VoIP hosted solution since the cost was good, but I was just worried about reliability and call quality. I did quite a bit of research and looked at a bunch of providers, such as 8x8, Nextiva, Vocalocity, Ring Central, etc. . . I read reviews and even read reviews on the VoIP phones they carried so I could pick the optimum phone, both looks and quality for our Company (We ended up getting the Cisco SPA 504Gs). So after doing all the research I choose Vocalocity. I figured if things go bad I could quit since Vocalocity does not have a contract (which many other VoIP providers are the same). Other companies had pretty good reviews also, but I was looking for certain features like call recording. After calling the sales dept I talked to a Stephanie S. and she helped me with everything to get us setup. I received the 20 phones got them activated and configured them the way I wanted. I didn't really use Vocalocity's tech support too much since I'm in the IT dept and setup was pretty straight forward. But when I did call Vocalocity's support they were always helpful and it didn't take an hour on the phone like it does when I call ATT or Verizon. I've had the Vocalocity service for almost a year now and it's been working fine. Stephanie still helps me when I need to order something or change something on our plan. We have had 2 outages so far which we're all due to our internet provider (Cox Communications) being down. That's the only downside to VoIP. Call quality is good. None of our employees said anything after the switch about call quality which is a good thing. With them no news is good news. I've had migrations and changes before that did not go so well and they just complain like there's no tomorrow. Overall I would rate vocalocity 4.5 out of 5 and would recommend them to a friend.

Vocalocity has been a great VOIP provider and customer service is excellent! We now have three offices and over 60 extensions with Vocalocity. We have saved thousands every year compared to our old VOIP provider and POTS line provider. Night and day compared to our old VOIP hosted provider. Vocalocity has had some technical problems last year but have been resolved quickly and they have added a new service so you can forward any calls to a LAN or cell in case of service issues with the VOIP. I am the IT manager and installed every phone and extension. Very easy to program phones. Love their service and the way they treat their customers with respect. No yearly contracts so they know a customer can move on at any time. Unlike other VOIP providers that make you sign a year contract. Great Sales Rep! Great Customer Service reps! Great Network Engineers! Great company! Wish every company would treat their customers like Vocalocity.

On July 10, 2010 I entered into a contract with Vocalocity to provide not only my telephone service but also my fax service. After discussing my needs with Nikki (sales) and being assured by her that the fax service was unlimited (this was a very important issue for me) I signed a contract. The contract states "Unlimited US Fax Number" $14.99 per month. The Vocalocity website states (as of 4/11/11) Fax to Email - Vocalocity's unlimited faxing service makes it quick and easy to send and receive faxes.... However yesterday 4/11/11, I received email from Vocalocity stating that my usage was excessive and based on their terms of service, section 4.2 I had exceeded my alloted 500 pages per month but they were going to waive the additional charges of $183.60 and that this was just a warning. I have reviewed the terms of service which show as having been revised March 2011 and 4.2 does stipulate that vocalocity reserves the right to terminate service based on fax broadcasting, etc. (none of which does my business participate in) and states that there is a 500 page limit. I have requested a copy of the terms of service as they were in effect in July 2010 when I signed my contract as this was the FIRST time that it was brought to my attention that my "Unlimited" plan actually had a 500 page limit. I believe that this is fraudulent advertising by the company - ALL OTHER REFERENCES TO FAXING STATES IT IS UNLIMITED - except for the fine print buried in the terms of service OR perhaps they realized that offering unlimited faxing was costly and because they could not afford to do this any longer they are now changing the rules. Either way, this is just BAD BUSINESS and if I did not feel that ultimately my business would suffer from changing things around rather than paying a higher fee to vocalocity I would do so. In case anyone else is interested, they also advertise that the minutes for the extensions at $39.99 per month is UNLIMITED, but I found once again buried in the terms of service that there is in fact a 3000 minute limit on this as well - while this does not affect me I am quite sure there are others that will be caught by surprise by this. My contract does state "Unlimited US Extension - $39.99 per month. UNLIMITED BY DEFINITION IS: 1. Having no restrictions or controls: an unlimited travel ticket. 2. Having or seeming to have no boundaries; infinite: an unlimited horizon. 3. Without qualification or exception; absolute: unlimited self-confidence. Vocalocity service is NONE of these things and they should not be allowed to continue to advertise and use this verbage in their contracts or their website - only referring to the TOS with a website address which takes you to the TOS page that can be changed to suit their needs at any time.

Vocalocity is our second VOIP provider who promised to resolve the issues we experienced with our previous provider. Voice quality suffered, lots of stuttering on the line, dropped calls. The worst experience is in spending 16 hours with tech support to try and overcome the issues and the tech recommended equipment changes (modem & router) which we did and our entire system went down. Ended up having to hire an IT person to fix everything at $200/hr! Beware of the techs acting as though they know more than they do and making unnecessary changes to your system. Currently looking to change VOIP providers as call audio quality still suffers.

This service is a good value unless reliability is important. They've frequently had either equipment failures or "upstream provider failures." It seems some creative math would be needed to support their "99.9% reliability" claim. If not being able to make or receive a call every once in a while isn't a huge issue, this is a good value. There also seems to be more of a line delay than some VoIP providers, which makes talking over the other person likely. Having said that, the features are very good, and you can reach technical support.

I ordered Vocalocity for my small business. Turns out the salesman didn't know what he was selling. He said the plan he was quoting included my call queue and unlimited toll-free minutes. I signed up, looked at the admin area, and saw right away that the call queue was something not included. I email the salesman back, he insisted it was included, then pushed me off to support (he had his sale, so I guess he was done with me). I talked to support, they told me it was NOT included and asked me to send the emails from the salesman. I sent those to the support rep, she reviewed them, then put me through to a manager. She said it was a mistake and now it would be an additional $14.99/mo for the call queue and $0.03 per minute, which would be about another $40/mo for my usage! I told her to cancel everything and pick their phones up. She said the phones were non-refundable, but finally said they would take them back since I threatened to dispute the charge and what they were doing was a "bait-and-switch" and that's ILLEGAL. It took them 3 weeks and several emails for them to refund my card. They refunded the wrong amount (they tried to short me $30). Now it will be another week to get the final $30 back. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. Absolutely terrible customer service on their part. I am so glad I had these problems BEFORE I switched my company numbers over to them. I can just imagine the headaches their incompetence would cause once I actually tried to use their service.

We are a law office using these phones. Customer service has been great. They are very helpful. We have had problems with calls where the other person cannot hear us, but we can hear them, but we are not sure that this is Vocalocity's fault, as our ISP only allows us 500mbs up and 1.5 down. We will be changing to a higher speed in a few months after our contract is up with our current ISP. That should tell us a lot. Also, sometimes voices can be garbled, but that does not happen enough. The fact is that phones work 95% of the time and we are never going back to the phone company!

I have two offices using the Vocalocity service, about 40 extensions. Both offices seem happy with the service and month to month is great since we had a previous VOIP contract that was terrible in service with another VOIP provider. Easy setup and Vocalocity setup team have been great. At first they had choppy voice recordings and options on the Virtual Recp, but they have since fixed that pretty quickly on their end. We have not had any outages in 6 months with Vocalocity and have been down 2 times with our old POTS lines in the same 6 months! YOU MUST HAVE A RELAIBLE ISP BEFORE SWITCHING TO VOIP. I am happy with the service and would recommend it. We are switching a third office soon to Vocalocity.

I've had this system for over a month now and it still is not working properly. Half the time the phone disconnects from the internet. They tell me I need another router where I have one perfectly good new one. The sales person made it sound like using a "soft phone" was going to be so easy - again, not so. I threw in the towel and finally bought a phone. I felt like they didn't tell me enough when I signed up. I feel locked in with them even though no contract since my phone numbers have been ported already and I don't want to lose any more work time getting a new system.

We signed up at the start of the year and were very happy initially. Since we had read a couple of poor reviews we decided not to write one ourselves until we had been with the service for at least three months. Since signing up we have not had a single outage or a single problem with any of our six extensions. The auto-attendant is extremely user friendly and everyone who uses the phones has no problem getting them set up to their liking. So far this has been a great decision and we can only see it getting better.

Running small office with Vocalocity, on DSL, yes DSL. Had many problems at first, but got second DSL line and dedicated it to VoIP. On second line, I carefully followed the equipment recommendations from Vocalocity support. Have had no problems since. Vocalocity support has handled all issues, quickly and nicely, for example we got a phone number that was 'polluted' with collectors calls - they changed it right away, no arguing. This company knows how to run a Service Business.

We have been with Vocalocity for over two years now. We had some problems with call quality when we first started using Vocalocity but after a couple of months those problems cleared up right away. Since then all of the new features that have come out have been awesome and have not cost us a penny. It took a while to realize the extent to which Vocalocity was going to pay off, but it is now clear that they are going to save us a lot of money.

My company has been using Vocalocity for a little over three months now. We have had one slight problem with a system failure on our end due to our Internet failing. Other than that we have been very happy with our service; we?re saving money and making the same high quality calls that we were with AT&T. We also use the Linksys phones that Vocalocity supports just in case we have a problem, but we have yet to have something go wrong with them. I highly recommend Vocalocity and its service.

Vocalocity is simply awesome, the service is great and the price is unbeatable. The company does not charge for each additional feature which makes keeping up with billing an ease, a huge problem that we experienced with our previous provider. We use a T1 connection in our office which makes our phones as reliable as our Internet connection; it never goes down. I have used Vocalocity for my small consulting business for about 9 months now and have been very pleased. My consultants are able to move around from location to location with ease, never having to re-configure any of their settings. They are happy using the phones and the service which in turn keeps me happy. While the service is good and reliable, the price is probably even more attractive, lots of savings to be had.

My company has been with Vocalocity for about seventeen months now. We have been extremely please with the quality of the service and the huge cost savings associated with it. We have experienced a couple of very minor outages during some equipment upgrades but have been able to remedy them quickly. We use linksys phones in our offices and all the calls that come through sound fine. We are on a T-1 connection which I understand is a good combination with Vocalocity, I've heard that DSL just cannot handle the bandwidth necessary to keep the calls sounding consistent. Vocalocity was a good choice.

We've had them for a year, regularly have dropped call and voice quality issues. Repeated calls to tech support with long waits have not resolved it. Now have heard form them that they need to do some expensive equipment upgrades to solve the problems we have had and there is no time frame for doing so. When it works it's great. I would say reliability it is in the high 90%'s but you really notice that time when it is down and our business is all done on the phone. I have loved using Vocalocity here at home with my small business. I only have two lines but they handle our capacity of calls with ease and we hardly ever have a problem. From time to time there is a short outage but it is typically fixed very quickly. Vocalocity has been a great decision.

Okay, I had written a poor review about Vocalocity a while back but I feel the need to re-address the issue. I had been with Vocalocity for a few months on a DSL connection and was experiencing major problems with my phone service. I kept insisting that it was Vocalocity's fault when in fact it was my bandwidth that was really the issue. Trying to support a 12 phone network on a DSL connection maybe was not the best idea. So after talking with Vocalocity tech support we upgraded to T-1 and since then we have not had a single problem with our service. The phones that they sold us work wonderfully and despite the rocky start, I could could not be happier.

I signed up with Vocalocity about 3 months ago. I had read reviews and was apprehensive at first but since money was so tight and they were the cheapest, I rolled the dice. Well, it has totally paid off. I have not experienced a single glitch in my service, my 4 regional sales people who move around a lot, are able to take their phones with them and conduct normal business while they are on the road, without having to completely reconfigure their phone settings. We use the Linksys SPA942 phones which have all the line appearances we need at an affordable price. Vocalocity actually supports that phone as well as a few others, which I think is a nice little safety net in case something did actually happen with the phone. Overall the experience has been leagues above what I was expecting, go with Vocalocity.

I have been very satisfied with my phone service experience through Vocalocity. My small marketing firm has three offices here on the east coast and we are constantly moving people from one to another based on where their projects dictate they be. Having the portability of Vocalocity is paramount to our business and it has saved us an great deal of hassle. Not to mention that they are the low cost solution in their field, that just like a cherry on top for us. While the portability function of their service is key to my business, by no means is that where the benefits end, they have a lot of really nice features that I could see applicable to most businesses. I highly recommend Vocalocity to anyone looking for a good IP phone solution.

I started using Vocalocity about a year ago and have been extremely pleased with the ease of use and the cost savings associated with the service. I used to be with Aptela but the service and people were extremely hard to deal with. I would recommend Vocalocity to any small company, especially if you want to portray a big company image.

I had no idea what VoIP was or how it could be employed in the work place, but Vocalocity was extremely helpful when it came to describing how their system works. It is incredibly cost effective and easy to use, not to mention universally portable. I highly recommend Vocalocity to anyone interested in obtaining a professional style phone system.

I've been using VoIP in my workplace for about six months now and I have to say, my experience has been really good. I'm not as technically conversant as a lot of people, so to me the customer service and ease of set up were just essential. On those fronts, Vocalocity has been wonderful. The customer service is high quality, very helpful and personal. We have a T-1 connection, so sound quality and everything hasn't been a problem at all. And of course, the first thing that drew me in was price, which I still haven't seen beat, so overall, I'd recommend this service to just about anyone

I've been a Vocalocity customer for a bit over a year. I'll start by saying that the level of customer service when I first started was great. They cared and were helpful in many aspects. They setup my account in a fast manner and were there to answer any questions I had. But - That was then. Now (and for the past 3 months) I have had a poor experience. They don't seem to care as much as they once did and the features don't work very well. I am a partner at a law firm (with 6 locations throughout the US) and we are all using Vocalocity. The choice to go with them was made by me but I now regret that decision and will look for a new provider. Their features is just one side that doesn't work very work well....I've also noticed that there are more options these days and they've probably gotten so large that they can treat their customers like Qwest. The call quality has not been so bad - we have T1's at all of our locations and use IP phones. In the majority of aspects I'm not too happy therefore have to rate them below average.

I really love using Vocalocity. I am saving tons on a monthly basis and the phone service could not be better. My employees have had an easy time adjusting to the new system and we have been able to maintain business as usual without having to repeat a phone system learning curve scenario. The quality provided for this price can't be beat, Vocalocity is great.

My third try with a business VoIP provider. No complaints so far so keeping my fingers crossed that I don't need to search for a fourth. I get fairly large cost savings for my business through VoIP use and am determined to stick with this, so hopefully have now found a provider that works effectively for me. We will see.......

I recently moved my small business over to a VoIP service and after some extensive research and a lot of discussion with different sales reps from different VoIP providers, I decided to give Vocalocity a try. So far the service has exceeded my expectations as this was my first experience with VoIP, I was extremely nervous about potentially jeopardizing call quality and ultimately frustrating some of my key clients. I have 6 lines and went for the unlimited extension plan which has more than enough features for what we need and it is really nice that they are included and not charged for on a per feature basis like I used to have to pay the phone company for. Thankfully the call quality has been good and I have had no issues so far. So overall, I?m happy with VoIP and happy having my VoIP at Vocalocity.

I find it hard to believe some of the negative reviews that I have read about Vocalocity as my experience has been outstanding. I have been with them for over a year now and I can?t remember the last time I had any issues. Like everything else in life, I would rather pay less for the service, but the overall value for money is great. No complaints here, just wish I had swapped over to VoIP sooner.

Had problems with international calls and customer service. Using 12 extensions with DSL and upload speed of 512kbps. Still troubleshooting with tech support but also looking at other providers. Don?t really want to change service as can?t be bothered with hassle but running out of patience.

Billing is straightforward and has been accurate wrt what I signed up for. Features are fairly straightforward and work ok. I went for the unlimited extension package as we tend to make a lot of calls every month and I did not want to end paying what I previous paid the phone company. I also like the auto-attendant feature as it has definitely allowed me to be a bit more flexible with welcome messages and call-redirects. There are a few add-on options available which can get a bit pricey if you go for too many so base it on your business need and ROI. I did get the toll-free number add on which is costing about $39.99/month and so far it is saving us a ton of money alone. What is the downside with Vocalocity? Well it might be nice if they bundled a few more of the add-on features into a packaged deal. I like the fact that if I do end up having issues, I can dump them when-ever I want as there is no disconnection fee. It also cost me a bit of money to get phones and head-sets.

I have not had a good experience with Vocalocity. Had a few issues and just took way to long to get all the kinks worked out for my liking. Seems to be ok now but would not recommend them at present. Maybe I will post again in a few months to let you know if it has stay consistently reliable.

So far I am reasonably happy with Vocalocity although I felt it took a little long to get an issue resolved with customer support. From what I can tell they don?t have the most feature rich service, but they have what we need for our business and more. The key for us was the ability to support multiple locations effectively as our business spans many small or home offices across a few states. The call quality between offices has been good and we have no records of dropped calls or bad sound quality. I am still a bit apprehensive about VoIP as we had a bad experience with another hosted VoIP provider who I won?t name. We?ve had the Vocalocity service for 6 months now and although I would still recommend that every business owner perform a bit of research before signing up with a provider, I would (at present) give these guys the thumbs up. They are not perfect but as far as overall value for money, I am happy for now.

A big thank you to Vocalocity. I would say that they are the one of the best of the growing pack of hosted VoIP companies that are out there. I was talking to one of their sales rep?s who seemed educated in the field and we were able to have an interesting conversation. Try calling some of the other business VoIP providers, and they wouldn't be able to tell you anything about the back end network that their service runs on. Maybe I just got lucky. Anyway the pricing is reasonable and the features cover everything that my small business will ever need. Overall I believe that I am saving about $250/month in calls alone by moving over to VoIP, and the fact that the Vocalocity service requires no maintenance, I am happy to say that I no longer need to get the phone guy to come out and help me when I need to move some phones around or change extensions. I have not had to deal with the customer service yet.

I used to have Packet 8 but did not like how difficult it was to set up additional lines. Vocalocity is much more efficient with getting lines set up, its almost too easy. Sound quality was low at first but I was told that my old DSL could be affecting that. After upgrading to T1 the quality has improved vastly. Definitely a great choice for small businesses.
