VoicePulse is my first voip and hopefully my only voip. So far the service has been great. The few issues that I've encounter was taken care of. Customer service has been really good. You can get someone with every call to them. Quality of the calls has been really good. A lot of great features. Contact manager is one of the best features that I've seen. It really works well if you have a voice caller-id phone. You can have the name pronounced the right way. First name Last name. Or whatever you like. MOM'S Calling! The really big thing is price. $25 vs $75 and not the features this offer. No brainer! Good Luck with your shopping, but VoicePulse is really good.

Left AT&T CallVantage because of limited number of filters available to block telemarketers. Was paying CV $32 per month for unlimited local and LD plan plus all the taxes and fees. With VoicePulse, I was able to use the $14.99 unlimited local plan with only 90 cents Federal tax added, because my entire state is a local call and the 200 minutes per month of LD that comes with the plan is adequate for me. So I cut my phone bill in half and got many more features, including an unlimited supply of filters to block each and every telemarketer that calls. Both services provide excellent call quality, but on price and features, VoicePulse can't be beat

Online sign-up is very time-consuming -- thorough but brain-dead. When I didn't get a confirmation e-mail, I contacted customer support and was told that they had sent me such an e-mail but my mail server had sent it to a spam folder. (My mail server does not do that, ever!) Then CS told me they could not resend the confirmation e-mail, that I should wait until I receive the ATA in order receive notification as to when I might receive the ATA. (Yes, that's what they told me. I've saved the e-mail.) The Linksys ATA arrived in six days but was DOA. The LEDs blinked a diagnostic code that Linksys ultimately told me meant "corrupt firmware" but VoicePulse CS continually claimed the fault was with me, maybe because of how I plugged things in or maybe because of how I turned things on or maybe because of my ISP but certainly the ATA was shipped in fine condition and they staunchly refused to find out what the diagnostic code means. Thank heaven Linksys had the guts to tell the truth.

VoicePulse, by providing such features as unlimited filtering, call blocking, telemarketer blocking, anonymous call rejection, Do Not Disturb and incoming Caller ID customization, gives one control over who can call and when they are allowed to call. These feature, IMO, make VoicePulse stand significantly ahead of the many VoIPs there are to choose from. VoicePulse's ?local? calling area includes my entire state (MD), DC and northern VA, there was little need for an unlimited long distance plan, so I chose the $14.99 plan. The 200 minutes per month of free long distance is adequate. 3.9 cents per minute for long distance calls over the 200 minute allotment. In the fine print, forwarded calls, even those that are forwarded to one's cell phone if the service or the ISP is down, cost 3.9 cpm with no allowance. My account was set up and the telephone adapter (Linksys) arrived four business days later. I plugged it in behind the router, and after less than a minute of blinking lights, it stabilized and I could get a dial tone and start making calls. My first encounter with tech support came when I discovered that on one of the six phones in the house, callers could not hear me. The other phones worked fine. The rep showed me how to access the settings in the telephone adapter and change the outgoing volume setting so that all phones worked satisfactorily. Problem solved. Another problem was the result of user error, and a quick call to tech support got it straightened out. Anonymous Call Blocking. Callers without Caller ID information do not get through. VP also offers Anonymous Call blocking with prompting. This will allow an anonymous caller a chance to enter a phone number and you can then accept or reject the call. Telemarketer block. This feature allows one to put a tone on the line that indicates to automated dialing systems that the number is not in service. One can enable telemarketing block on just anonymous calls or on all calls. Filters. One can route calls in many different ways using filters, including blocking the number of every telemarketer from ever ringing the phone a second time. One can use filters to send certain callers directly to voicemail, to always forward certain callers to one's cell phone, to allow certain callers to bypass Do Not Disturb. Do Not Disturb. One can set a scheduled Do Not Disturb for an uninterrupted night's sleep, or set it for a short time for a quiet dinner without phone calls. Once Do Not Disturb has been set up in the online account, it can be enabled or disabled from any phone in the house. In an emergency (or if they are just plain rude), callers can get through when Do Not Disturb is in effect by dialing a 1. Many other of VoicePulse's features just make the deal sweeter. Of course, they have Caller ID, Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, and Voicemail. In addition to the stutter tone on the line when there is a voicemail message, one can opt

How can this company stay in business? After one year of service I started having problems and my phone would not work. Voicepulse said there was a problem with my router and wanted me to contact Linksys. So I called Linksys and they said my router was working fine. Then voicepulse wanted me to contact Sipura about the adapter, so I did and Sipura said they thought the adapter was bad and for me to contact voicepulse. Now voicepulse still says it my router so I buy a new router and still the phone does not work. Now voicepulse says maybe it is the adapter and wants me to pay for a new one. This is two weeks later with no service and I was not willing to spend any more time and money on voicepulse so I requested them to cancel my service. They still charged me for the month of October while I had no service. Today I get a call from voicepulse saying I owe them over 100 dollars because my service is still active and also I have to pay for the broken adapter. Well you can guess what I told them! Oh and I have signed up with a new VOIP and you know what both old and new routers work fine. Don?t Use VoicePulse!

Great Customer Service - usually response in seconds. Very knowledgeable, helpful and polity staff. The equipment is easy to install. Good quality of sound. The company informs via email about any changes and when they charge credit card. The phone number was transferred over from the local phone company in several days after I faxed authorization form. This is my first Voip provider and after reading many negative reviews (bad customer service, waiting time on the phone is over an hour, low quality of sound, etc.) from users of Vonage and Viatalk, I am glad I selected VoicePulse. VoicePulse does not have any special offers, but it provides good and reliable service and is still much cheaper than I paid before to Verizon.

Excellent voice Quality and reliability (no dropped line, ever) easy to install. I can't say much about customer service; the service is so good that I never had to call them!

After reading all the reviews I decided that Voice Pulse seemed to be one of the best rated. I still was nervous about being burned and decided to not to ask them to change my land line number over right away. Anyway, it has been about a month now, and everything has been almost perfect. The equipment arrived after about a week or so and was easy to install. The phone worked right away and seems to be doing the job. The main reason I wanted to go to a VOIP was to save money. We already have cell phones and the home line is really just to have one and for the kids mostly. The extended local plan with 200 free long distance minutes is a deal at 15 bucks. I also like the filter feature where I can block out many types of inconsiderate callers. The only warning I would give is that there are echo's reported where the other person can hear their voice a little. It doesn?t seem to affect my side and is not a big problem ? especially for the limited use and teenage conversations. I would not get this service for business use. I also have yet to hear anything about whether or not I have E911 or not. I would recommend this phone to anyone who uses cell phones a lot, but still wants or needs to keep an economical home ?land line?.
