I really appreciate the customer service and how fast Fonality gets back to me every step of the way. I have had a great service rep who has really help me through my lack of technology knowledge. I was terrified at first but Fonality has such a great staff that you really can count on.

Fonality has a customer referral program, that I was unaware of at first. However my sales rep informed me of it and I sent him a client. The rep handled all the details and took good care of my referral and signed him up. Then he called me and said that with that customer, I would be receiving a check in the mail! No easier way to make money. I will keep him in mind when I have other partners who need new and better phone service.

We started with with Fonality a few months back. Our sales representative has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The support has always been there, even when it was us who did something wrong. Not to mention the savings we have over AT&T.

When I signed up for Fonality, I advised them that I did not have a high speed internet service in my building, so what ever you do, do not port my phone numbers. Did they listen?? Hell No! I went for 5 days with my inbound call center having to forward the calls to a cell phone! I went to VOIP to gain the ability to record my calls. This feature have never worked well since day one. It will record all calls (up to 100) but I have to delete them one at a time and it takse at least 2 min. a call to do. not made any effort to correct the situation. In two years with them, I have experienced 4 or 5 outages where my ability to call in or out were lost. One time if was for more than a day. The savings over copper line are substantial, but the losses from lack of or no existan service hurt!

DO NOT RECOMMEND! We signed up with Fonality about 4-5 months ago. I have had issues to deal with everyday! We were promised by Ricoh (the company that installed everything for us and were supposedly "experts") that the remote phones would work. We were told that we would be able to unplug a phone and take it whereever we wanted and it would work as if they were "right here in our main office". Having remote phone capability is the main reason we decided to go with VOIP and Fonality. The remote phones never worked. Then, Ricoh told us that we need to purchase a SonicWall to fix the remote phone issue. We spent $1600 on this SonicWall, and our remote phones are still not working. We recently had people move from one office into another (all within the same building) - now, their phones and HUD are not working. There is a new issue everyday. Literally. Another extension was working, now isn't for no reason. I'm actually on the hold with Fonality right now (for 41 minutes so far), while they attempt to correct the issue. I will say that most...well...some of the reps are helpful. It typically takes at least 1-5 hours out of my day to get all of these issues corrected, but I don't always hang up angry. Sometimes they actually help. Bottom line: I would stay away from Ricoh (the supposed experts) and Fonality. Both are way too pricey for the less than mediocre service and product that you receive!

Issues I've had with Fonality: Phones taking 2-10min to dial out. HUD crashing for hours. Tech Support having to Google error messages to find out what they meant. Tech Support never calling back (apparently Google bested them). Poor communication with Customer Service. Billing Dept errors that ended up costing us hundreds of dollars when we least expected it. I'm only 6 months in, can't wait to see what comes next...

Can not get anything correct. Phones line down everyday, Tech support 3-4 times a day this went on for 3 months. They would not even work with us when we ported to another provider.

I wasn't going to take the time to submit a review but I don't want anyone to go through what we are going through with Fonality. The biggest issue is that they have alot of new people in sales and in service/installation which creates a nightmare to resolve any issues along with the fact that they will not provide direct extensions of any customer service rep so each time you call and get in a queue you never get the same person twice. You also get in email exchanges too often verses a real person who understands how to solve a problem. It is a huge waste of time trying to get this system up and running. Very painful and if we had it to do over again, I would not buy Fonality no matter how good the price and or functionality may seem...it is not worth the aggrevation. No one seems to know what is going on or how to really solve a customers problem. They sell a phone and that is about it!! It takes them forever to answer and if they drop your call, you are back in the que again as I discovered several times. Overall we are unsatisfied with how the system was sold and promised to us. We have had to spend more money to get what we thought we already had purchased. The sales team does not have any power to really assist you as much as they would like to think they do. All support comes from the Phillipines...and they have scripts that don't really seem to help much. We don't have time for this anymore and we will be getting another system as soon as this contract is up. Protect your business - do not go with Fonality.

This is the worst phone company I have ever dealt with! My business is phone intensive and we experience outages every month. Thankfully I am now changing carriers. Stay away from Fonality!!!
