Fonality is a unparalleled in customer service and features. The Heads Up Display save me $ and improves efficiency every day! I've been looking for a system that does it all and Fonality is that system.

I must say, whenever I had to call Fonality for anything, I had a knowledgeable and effective tech on the phone. The sales people are top rate, always available to help and explain things.

We have been with Fonality since 2009. Things started off not so good as it took two techs to install the system and many hours of tweaking all in year one. Years two and three the system worked ok most of the time. But after the last two software upgrades the sound quality went down hill. About three weeks ago we discovered after talking to four tech support staff who never seemed to have the same solution or cause, that our pbxtra was being hit with numerous attacks by someone trying to break in. They suggested that we replace the hard drive which we did for $800 only to have the system only work for four hours. Well we have now been without phone service for three weeks and counting. Their system is not reliable and their tech support team have some good and some bad techs. Customer service is not important to this company. I wish just once someone from upper management would take time to read these reviews and take an interest in their customer's grief. I have had to send my staff home for a week due to no phone service. I wonder how would they feel if this happened to their company. Stay away from this company if you value your customer's ability to reach you consistently.

We love the features and functionality of our system. We are able to handle our call volume sufficiently and we are able to make changes to the system with little assistance. Service has been excellent.

Fonality feels like a huge company and the system we have contracted for is very dense, (probably better suited to a much larger company but we have big plans) so I sometimes feel like I am trying to drink from a fire hose trying to understand the features and how to set them up. Technical support is not always accessible, so I regularly spend seemingly long minutes on hold waiting for a person to pick up. It is typical that the interaction with customer service is voice prompted and speaking to a person is elusive. I guess that is a sign of the times. I have had discussions with several obviously very young support people who are more impressed with what they know than in helping me figure out what I need to do to fix or adjust our system. In my experience, that is also a sign of the times with many call center customer service staff. That said, the salesman is always helpful when we talk- Adam- and our phone system has only gone down once for an extended period of time. We were without phone for over an hour, luckily we still had internet from another service provider or I would have been out of business for that period of time. Apparently it was a system-wide issue according to the conversation I had when I could eventually speak with a person about the problem. By and large, we have periodic hickups but nothing serious.

Our customer service rep is good, but the tech support team is difficult to work with. We have several issues that we have had with simple requests. It can be frustrating to get clear answers.

Customer service is best when speaking on the phone - answers by email in responding to a ticket are not always the best.

We've had 9 lines running across four locations with Fonality for a month now, and have been very happy with the service. The admin interface is a bit clunky, but once you get used to it, you can move through it fairly quickly. Their sales staff has been quite helpful, and I can get a knowledgeable customer service rep on the phone anytime. Overall, I would suggest this service.
