Having had such a positive experience with VOIPO over the years, I 100% recommend their services to anyone in need of a dependable telecommunications provider. They are responsive and swift in resolving any issues. Also, their commitment to customer satisfaction and quality service is truly commendable. By the way, I am a satisfied customer since 2017.

Pros; I've been using VoIPo for about two years now. Not only was it cheaper than its competitors, but it was also more reliable, and the customer service from the team was first-class. One standout feature I appreciate is their inbound/outbound call routing, which is excellent for blocking telemarketers' calls. VoIPo has truly exceeded my expectations. Cons; none so far. Thanks!

It's cheap and it works. Has more features than a person knows what to do with but that's good to have. The price is really good and I save lots of money. It's phone service so not sure what else to say. Good service and cheap.

Good but not perfect

I've been using VOIPO for about 4 or 5 years and I have been quite satisfied although it hasn't been perfect. It's a great saving over AT&T, and has a feature that allows you to add telephone numbers you want to block in addition to VOIPO's telemarketing phone number database if you turn it on. It works great for blocking telemarketers. Because it's internet based, it'll go down if your internet goes down. Another negative is if the service goes down, you'll need a cell or some other phone to call their tech support. I've had some hardware problems with their adapter but they gave me a new one for free. I've had to reset the adapter occasionally by cutting power to the adapter whenever features stopped working correctly but it wasn't much of an issue. Overall I like this service and recommend it to others.

Not Reliable

#62 : Kourosh : FEB 28th, 2018

I had anticipated that switching to a VOIP service may be problematic because it relies on my Internet connection but ended up with issues that had nothing to do with my Internet service. Problem #1: During the order process PayPal is one of the options but after the order was placed I had to contact support to get my account created. The $149 price is actually $185 with fees and taxes. Problem #2: ATA device provided (Grandstream HT802) has 2 lines and line 2 is enabled by default so when using line 1, call waiting calls would be transferred to line 2. So line 2 had to be disabled to enable call waiting on line 1. Every time I asked for help this setting would change so I would have to go in and disable line 2 multiple times. Last tech support person I talked with kept insisting that line 2 needs to be enabled for call waiting to work. Problem #3: Intermittent DTMF tones being heard by the other party while in conversation. The "talk-off" issue with DTMF tones was never resolved. This issue caused the connection to be lost on multiple occasions. Problem #4: No busy signal when calling a line that's busy or off hook (sounds like a normal ring but shorter delay between rings and then silence). Problem #5: Multiple times had no service at all (usually on Mondays for some reason). Overall the experience was very disappointing and extremely unreliable. I had to spend a lot of time either writing or calling tech support. When calling tech support they all claim that the issue I called about was resolved only to find out that nothing had changed and any minor adjustment never resolved the "talk-off" issue. When there is a technical issue the tier 1 support is lacking and it's very hard to get a hold of tier 2 people. They refused to replace the ATA adapter and suggested I should get my own adapter to try. Why should I experiment with a new device when they should've worked out the issues. They would not provide a shipping label to return their equipment. You can only cancel online and if you don't return the adapter there is a $49.95 charge. The prorated refund I received was calculated from the $149 not the $185.

I ordered NordVPN and paid for a year, but customer service for VOIPO couldn't make them work together. They told me to talk to NordVPN, who also couldn't make them work together. I paid for a VPN I'm unable to use. This is my one negative/con.

Been using it for two years and just can't stand it anymore. Not reliable enough if you have family members or a work site that you need to be in contact with. Too many times spending long periods of time on the phone with customer service trying to tweak it, test it or just make it work right. It doesn't work right and I don't think it ever will. I'm up the coast from California and don't know if it would be easier with a Canadian provider but I just won't bother anymore. I have to switch back to one of the big market monopolizers.

Customer Service Issues

After almost four years of having this service, every time I plug the adapter into an outlet, it sounds like its frying and I can no longer use the service. I haven't been able to and I keep going back and forth with CS stating that I need a new adapter line. Now there asking me what my voltage and amperage is. Really? I have had the service for this length of time, and have just recently experienced the frying noise. Nothing going on with voltage or amperage. How difficult would it be for them to just send me a new adapter? Also, just to mention a couple of months back I needed to call 911. It would only ring once and disconnect. Then the 911 operator called me back and she and I couldn't hear each other, yet other phone calls were just fine. So, there's a 911 issue for sure. Glad I haven't had to use it since then.

Fast customer service, clunky SMS service

Pros: - Every time I have an issue it is resolved quickly. I submit a ticket and within an hour someone (a real person, not a computer) responds and the problem is fixed or being worked on. - I have never had any issues with call quality. - You can use multiple soft phone programs with VoIPo. - VoIPo does have an iPhone/iPad app, works similar to a phone, you can record conversations. - it's less expensive than a land line or cell phone, and you can have a number in a different city if need be. - you can use it from anywhere with an Internet connection. Con: - one of the only negatives is the usability of the SMS feature. It is straight forward and makes sense BUT you can only send texts through their website (you have to log in, etc.). What would make it a slam dunk is if you could send/receive SMS messages from a soft phone. You can have SMS messages forwarded to an email, phone number, or other options, but not to a soft phone.

My only problem is with my Internet service provider who is Xfinity (Comcast), because they reset my IP address and VOIPO won't account for this and I presume Comcast does it to keep people from signing up with other VoIP providers. It's easy enough to reset by resetting the modem, resetting my WiFi and VoIPo modem concurrently. I believe I end up paying about $7 a month!

A lot of people might be wondering why you need to use VOIP instead of a traditional land-line. VOIP has become extremely popular, thanks to Skype, a service that lets you use your computer to talk to your friends over a broadband internet connection. Right now, most TV cable companies and phone companies offer VOIP handset deals. The reason why they are so popular is because in most places, the old phone company had always the monopoly of landlines. Calls between cities in the same country are considered as long distance, and don't even start looking at international long distance calls. The costs are pretty steep. VOIP is a way to talk over the internet. Most people use VOIP as a bundled phone service through their cable provider. However many people are not aware that many companies provide a better feature set at a cheaper price! One such provider I used to run my business is VOIPo. They offer many advanced features which many cable companies simply don't offer at a fraction of the price. Here are some examples on how VOIPo makes me more productive everyday:
-If I'm going to be out of the office with just a few keypad entries all my calls can follow me wherever I go.
-Thanks to custom caller ID if someone in my online address book calls me from their cell phone I don't have to guess who the number belongs to.
-Some months I do a lot of remote support which has to be billed hourly or flat rate. With the call logs being conveniently logged in a control panel there is no need to watch a call timer.
-I use a service called YouMail which is voice-mail on steroids; using VOIPo's call forwarding along with YouMail all my messages go to one unified mailbox. That is just my preference and VOIPo in itself has voice-mail that works very well.
-Choice of phones! Whether you want to use your existing phone system with the ATA they send you or want to use a softphone client on your PC, MAC, or smartphone devices one can answer calls where it is convenient for them. Personally I use a Cisco 525G2 IP phone on my desk along with an ATA hooked up to a waterproof cordless phone.
-Sick of telemarketers and Robocalls? VOIPo has their own telemarketer block list and integrates with NoMoRobo so no longer will they interrupt your dinner.
What I love the most is their pricing, 180.00 for 2 years of phone service. One can pay yearly or even monthly. However most all of my clients have opted to pay for two years in advance at such a great price point.

I thought that I read all of the fine print but didn't pay close enough to the analog disclaimer. Unfortunately, I'm not technical enough to understand that means a fax machine will not work with this service and is not supported by VOIPO. So, now I must buy another service and VOIPO doesn't care! BEWARE!

Just want to say how much I really appreciate the service team. Every one in customer support Rocks!!..and I mean everyone! I can call with a question or a slight technical issue and, they stay on that phone with you until all is well. They listen; they are pro's! Very knowledeable and, most of all patient and friendly. I am so glad I found Voipo, and was finally able to cancel that evil team at Comcast! They were ripping me off every month...I was paying over $40.00 for the same quality of phone service as I now have with Voipo. Plus, voipo does not charge for all of the features like 3-way calling, caller ID..etc...Awesome!! I plan on sharing my find of Voipo with aquanitences and freinds so, they too can start saving and cancel their present providers! Great job Voipo..

Voipo is really a good value during the first 2 year period when it is on sale for $185 for the 2 year special. Not so good when it goes to $185 for just one year. There are lots of good features to block sales calls, and the fax feature works well, but it is a problem to assemble a fax from separate files. They respond within an hour to my email support queries.

Pros: Easy to order, very easy to set up at home, transfer of number occurred very fast and effortlessly. Cons: Horrible problem with periods of about 10 seconds of silence every 1-2 minutes on a call. Essentially, the phone line goes silent for 10 seconds, usually while I'm listening. This occurs on about 75-80% of calls. Not as noticeable on 1-2 minute calls, but anything more than 3 minutes or so and you'll get silence for 10 seconds every minute or two. We've contacted customer service, they re-set our device, it got better for a week or so, but has reverted back to the same problem. At this point, I cannot recommend this service. I was hopeful to eliminate the AT&T bill every month, and have given the company 1 more chance to fit this. If that doesn't happen, I'll cancel and skip the home phone and just live off of cell phones going forward.

After years of being over charged by Comcast and having to call them continously, regarding billing and tech. issues... I found Voipo..It was easy to set up. No more than 5 days tops and that was only due to Comcast end of not closing the job out and delaying the process. Customer service by phone is very helpful and curteoius. I am so pleased with my service, I intend on refering not only all of my aquaintances, but may also be interested in their affiliate progrsm. With the two year plan, I am only paying $6.00 a month for phone service! Good Job Voipo! More people need to know about this service and they will definitly leave their current providers. That's a fact! Phone quality is no different than when using Comcast. I purshased my own modem a Motorola Gateway, which is compatable to Comcasts modem but better..so I now even save on the $7.00 charge to use Comcasts modem.. I'm really saving now..

I would recommend this service however I discovered that the company is no longer interested in providing "deep discount" service so I received 2 years of service with great features for about $170. At the moment I even get voice messages delivered to my Iphone email and when someone calls I know within a few minutes and this is very useful. I'm not so sure where this company intends on going in the future so.......

I started using VOIPO in 2009 (now 2013) and my adapter finally died after they did an update to my adapter so that it would ring the correct number on the correct line. Now they are telling me that I have to buy a new one from them at their cost (almost twice what Amazon sells them for) and they will not warranty the new device beyond no DOA. They said that the device was a lease and since it died, I have to replace it. ??!! What?!! You want me to buy the adapter from you at almost twice the price and you will not warranty it. Which means that if I bought their adapter and it worked for one day and then died, I would have to replace that one as well. Ridiculous and no thank you. Of course, they didn't tell me I would have to replace "their" equipment until after I had already received the new adapter. I even told them two days before that I was going to buy the adapter from elsewhere. Customer service started going down hill about a year ago but I didn't really let it bother me since I don't really have time to deal with it and the system worked good enough to take care of business. They have decent discounts once or twice a year and their service is OK. They have had certain features in Beta mode since I started with them, 4 years now, that I feel should be focused on and brought out of Beta. They have been working on their new Beta vPanel (what you use to interface with their service) for more than a year now and it doesn't seem to have changed at all. So, basically - their customer service is horrible and they are way behind on taking care of their software and site updates. I think they are more focused on acquiring new customers than they are with actually taking care of their system or their current customers. They were pretty good when I first started with them in 2009 but I am definitely looking for someone to replace them now. I just wonder if I will get any of the 200+ I have already paid for the next year. Bottom line, look elsewhere for your VOIP, in my opinion.

I selected VOIPo based on reviews and their reported good customer service. I haven't been disappointed. The call quality is not that of a land line, but is generally quite good using a series of relatively new cordless phone sets throughout the house. I see a recent reviewer citing problems with Verizon mobiles calling in. I have not found that to be the case. My wife and I have Verizon mobile, as does most of my family across the US. We have had no issues with call quality. We have also not had any of the reported issues with caller ID not functioning as it is supposed to. I had one call failure when I called a doctors office, which was also using a VOIP service (unknown). Customer service took the number and resolved the problem quickly. Apart from that instance, I have had no need to use a live service rep. The user interface is not particularly flashy, but all information that I have needed - calls in, calls out, blocked calls, etc - has been there when I needed it.

Most of the time, most of the features VOIPo provides are fine. The major exception is, nobody calling from a Verizon Wireless phone can be understood on our VOIPo phone. We've tried customer support, who have moved us from one server to another several times, changed settings for our little voip box, etc. Nothing has improved our ability to talk with VZW phones. We're going to move on to another provider, since VOIPo just can't seem to fix this problem. Other than that, we like the service. The Fax drop, the web UI, all good for this family of tech-savvy folks.

"Call Routing" my favorite feature

A small hiccup during setup process as I was hearing too much echo. Turns out I was on the "west coast" server when I should have been on the "east coast" server and was getting too much lag. Customer service found the problem and took care of it immediately. I am QUITE satisfied with the system, and keep the price in mind. I pay $6 a month and had moved from $48 or so with ATT, and $30 before that with Vonage. At $6 I don't expect miracles. That being said, for the price the system IS a miracle. You have every known feature available but best by far is "call routing." On any number that comes through, including ANONYMOUS, 000-000-0000, UNAVAILABLE and any other trick telemarketers can come up with you can "choose" what happens to that number the next time they try to call. It can be blocked, disconnected, forwarded, put on a black list, put on a white list etc. I choose "disconnected" which is nothing more than Voipo's system telling the caller "We're sorry, but the number you have been trying to reach has been disconnected." I'm on the Do Not Call list but it doesn't matter they still call...only now they can only call once because I'll go to my computer, log into Voipo, find the number and block it. My block list has over 200 calls on it now. It took a while but my phone hardly rings anymore. Long story short Voipo is worth every penny of the $6. Seriously it's $6 a month for a "land line." I've spent that much on a shot of whiskey :)

Have had VOIPo for a month now. I cut the wiring externally from the house and plugged the VOIPo device into the house wiring. All phones get tone and ring just like "normal." We did have the lowest priced CenturyTel plan which included nothing for 27.89 a month taxes included. I now have Caller ID, Call forwarding, 3 Way calling and complete control of my phone. I can set up white/black lists, set a ring for special callers and have a log of all calls incoming and outgoing plus a lot more for less than 1/4 the price! I am amazed at the sound quality. My wife, who is very picky, can't even tell the difference. She loves the added features and it just works! Kudos to VOIPo!

So far (3 weeks) the service is quite good. However, don't be mislead as I was thinking that you get 60 free minutes of international calls. They cleverly indicate "to selected locations," of which there are very, very few. A 20 minute call to Mexico generated a bill of nearly $3.00 ($0.13 per minute)--very unexpected. Carefully check your location on there International "Package" to see if its included in the free time. Most likely it will not be. Also note that the price is not $129 for 24 months prepaid, but actually $165 which includes "taxes." On balance, just be aware of these issues. The service is nearly 7 times cheaper than what I was paying to ATT, so on balance I have to say it has a lot going for it-just read the fine print.

I just switched from another "voice over" provider to Voipo and was amazed at how easy the set up was. Voice quality is excellent and I think the calls go through faster...no echoes and no dropped calls...What more could you ask for? I did have one minor glitch with the # of ports on the voice modem but they took care of that right away so I can actually call them the friendly phone company just as they describe themselves. I signed up for the two year package for a total of $165, including all fees and taxes for both years, unlike my other provider who hit me up with additional fees and taxes at the start of the second year. Of course only time will tell but I have a really good feeling about my switch to Voipo!

Went from $39/month to about $6. Received internet module in days, plug-in to router easy. Decided to leave land-line home wiring, plug phone jack into internet module. We ported our 20-yr home phone # took a week an all is well. Sound is clear, home phones work great. We are still working on loss of caller ID numbers when phone rings (phone does not show incoming ID numbers and we are not sure, why?). Not real clear on all the service features...just too techno for me. Overall, saving big money for land line is the bottom-line. Highly recommend switching, good-bye AT&T.

I had a Verizon (land line) and was paying $60 a month. I finally got wise and decided to try voip service again. I had used 8x8 several years ago but was not happy with the service. Can?t remember why. I did a lot of research before selecting VOIPO. One of the main reasons I selected them was not only were they one of cheapest but, if you decide to drop their service, they will refund your money for the months you don't use. Most other voip services I found didn't offer a refund for unused months. I ordered a promotion for $186 for 2 yrs which includes all taxes and fees. I even found a coupon code that gave me a free extra month. That works out to $7.44/mo for everything! I really like their website. You have a lot of control over your phone service. Including, being able to forward you phone to a mobile phone if you?re are not home. One of my favorite features is ?black? listing those pesky calls from telemarketers or people asking for money. Voicemail is delivered to your email as a wav file so you can listen to it on your computer. But dialing 123 puts makes it easy to access it from your phone. The support has been good. It?s even US based, so there?s no language barrier. Thank goodness! Even though they have limited support hours, I was able to get someone on a chat session very quickly every time I needed. I had some initial issues with my service as I?ve seen in some other reviews. But I believe that was because I put the voipo unit behind my wireless router. It took some tweaking to get everything working. But the Voipo support folks worked with me until everything was resolved. I rarely have issues now. Everything worked fine when I attached the voip unit directly to my cable modem. I just didn?t want my internet connection going through the Voipo unit. Transferring my home number from Verizon took some time, but that was mostly because of Verizon. Voipo?s correspondence during that time was very good. They gave me a temp number while my home number was being transferred. You can't fax unless you purchase a separate line. Voipo does allow you to fax from their web site, but you have to scan you document first and save it as a file. Then you can only attach one document at a time. Since I don't fax much, this is not a big issue for me. Overall, for the price I paid, the service has been very good and I?m happy with them. My only real concern is with all the new voip companies springing up, will Voipo be able to stay in business. But since they are basically HostGator and offer other services besides voip, I?m hoping that provides some stability to the company.

There are some drawbacks to VOIPO that are an unpleasant surprise. For example, if you and a relative are both on VOIPO, some of the features simply won't work. Call forwarding: if my relative on Voipo calls my home, it will not forward to my cell. ALL other calls will forward. Pretty stupid drawback in my opinion. This is true for other features as well. VOIPO should document this on their website for full disclosure before taking your money. There are times that outside callers on mobile phones cannot get through to my home number; this NEVER happened with Vonage. You cannot send a fax through VOIPO, so using this as the primary line for home based business is a bad idea. You can fax a document by uploading it to their fax server, but unless you have the ability to scan a document into a PDF or Word format, you're screwed. Vonage NEVER gave me a problem with a fax once I learned to have the fax turn off error correcting mode. For straight home service, great value and good quality and good support. For home office, please look elsewhere.

Best move I have made regarding phone service.I was with Vonage for several years and had the 14.99 plan as I don't use the phone much. Then they increased the cost to 17.99 a month and then to 19.99 amonth.I then started to have problems reaching a couple of tel.numbers and had to call support.Their english was poor and had a heck of a time resolving the problem..I deceided to swith to Voipo and so far no complaints

Previously had Quest/century link VOIP and was very happy with quality although it was expensive. Century link discontinued residential voip and after reading all the reviews online I was very hesitant to select another provider. I finally decided on VOIPO. I ordered the unit online after asking a few questions to the us based support dept. Received equipment in 3 days. Pluged the internet into the box, plugged the phone line into the other side, picked up the phone 10 seconds later and it has worked great ever since! After reading all the reviews online I did not expect it to be so easy! I think many people have internet connection problems and blame it on Voip.

I have thought about pulling the plug on my AT&T landline for months. After reviewing various options including PhonePower, Ooma, Vonage, etc. I decided to go with VOIPo. This is my first experience with VOIP so I was a little uncertain as to what to expect. I have to say without a doubt I was surprised at the voice quality and clarity. To me the sound comparison between VOIPo and AT&T would be like comparing HDTV to a 20 year old analog tv with rabbit ears. There has been absolutely no delay in either outbound calls or inbound calls. The voicemail program is great in that it will forward any voicemails to my e-mail so that I can get them while away from the house. I didn't rate the reliability as I have only had them for about a week. I will update this review as time passes. I'm still waiting for my number to port from AT&T. That will take two weeks because of AT&T, not VOIPo. My one contact with customer service was handled very quickly (I couldn't get the time zone on my caller id to change to my current time zone). At this point, I am extremely satisfied with VOIPo and would recommend them.

Night and day compared to "The New Magicjack Plus". Sound quality perfect, only delay was porting my phone number to Voipo (used Google Voice previously). They want a bill or other documentation. I had paid google to "unlock" my number and sent them the receipt and that seemed to be sufficient. Blocking features are fantastic. I receive a ton of calls from telemarketers and with their features know I can now control this. In the past, I also had 3Jam which is going out of business and I was not able to renew my service with them. This service is better and customer service response fantastic. The only oddity so far was when I was testing my service calling my "temporary" Voipo number, forwarding it to my Magicjack number one call reported 361 mins. There were several calls after doing this test using the same scenario so there is no possibility that I did not disconnect the call on my end. Even though the service is advertised as unlimited, the acceptable use threshold is 5000 minutes. Response to my ticket was basically "make sure you disconnect completely"???

One of the cheapest options around with tons of features included. The setup can be confusing to someone who is not technically astute, but if you have problems setting it up, they have great customer service to help you.

It's amazing, actually. If you connect the line from the VOIPO modum to your house line, provided you don't have other phone service, we were able to use any other phone jack in the house. It feels so good to get away from AT&T and the big boys. Only pay for internet and under $8.00 per month (including taxes). So far, so good! Had to call customer service about 4 times to get it set up and working, but well worth it! Also, since we have AT&T internet, we still get the DSL signal in our phone lines. However, when we routed the VOIPO service in the phone lines, we used some sort of DSL splitter coming from the jack in our office. The dsl line goes into the modum and the phone line comes from the voipo box. The voipo box has an additional phone port that we use also as an extra jack.

Ordered the service. The adapter came in the mail in about 5 days. I plugged it in and it did not work. I called the company, they did some basic trouble shooting and agreed there was an issue. They shipped me another but it did not contain the correct phone number. It had a number from Florida in it. I got the persons calls and everything. I was just about to ask for another adapter when I got the idea to try the previous adapter again with the new power supply. Sure enough it worked and had the correct phone number. I was in business. I have been happy with the service since with only minor issues. That is why I rated some good vs really good. You still cannot beat this for the price. Also the customer service was very good and they credited me for the lost time once the issue was resolved. I recommend this provider even with the issues I had. The amount features is so large it will take me months to discover them all.

I've been live for a week now, everything is smooth sailing. Six days from order to live (including porting my number), the voice quality is great (much better than Vonage), all of the features I could ever want are included, and the price is great. I only wish there were more detailed information on the features in the knowledgebase. Other than that, all is well. I will update review in a few months.

I have another VOIP phone line through BrightHouse (my cable provider) and wasn't sure if I would have a problem hooking this up on the same network. But, just plugged it into a spare jack on my network switch and after about 5 minutes I had dial tone and it was working. My number also ported from AT&T within 2 days from submitting the paperwork! That was fantastic! I had a problem with the star codes working, contacted support and they tweaked my line and all was working within minutes. So far, very satisfied.

My setup time was long due to some porting issues from T-Mobile - not all Voipo's fault. I have had 2 ATAs and numerous tweaks to keep my service running. Customer service hours are limited to 9am-6pm CT M-F which is difficult for full time working people. You can schedule support outside of those hours, but that is only good after you have had a problem and your phone doesn't work. Website for setting features is good. SMS ability to change basic features is great when you forget to forward the phone after you have left the house. User Forum is good, president of the company jumps in to give suggestions and will escalate issues.

probably the best value for the money. will consider as the main land line . it has several features - the free fax ones is probably the most useful. sound quality is good, like 95% of the time, or more. nothing really to complaint about; much better quality than a previous one I tried - MagicJack ; similar quality with Comcast Voice at 1/4 of the price. I would recommend to anyone . in this world where we keep our Internet connections open 24/7 , this can be easily considered the main land line in any household.

I was with Vonage previously and switched to VOIPo and siged up a month and half ago. It was very easy to sign-up, ported my number from Vonage to VOIPo and its almost less than half cheaper that what I was paying previously. Their customer service is great and they have live chat which is very accessible and great and have used it. The number port took 3 weeks from day porting request was made to actual port complete and being active and it was smooth. I am using their SIP account (Beta feature) with my own ATA and its working great. I am so glad I switched and very happy with VOIPo! It has been the best experience of all my VoIP choices so far (I have tried Sunrocket, Lingo, and Vonage).

The customer service is very friendly & quick. These guys know how to fix issues. My service has been very reliable except once I had problem for couple of days due to corrupt adapter. Voipo replaced it quickly with no charge and my service has been stable since then. The features in their vPanel are awesome. I also have international package and my calls to india seem to work fine. Only reason I took out 1 point from ease of setup is due to the fact that my number porting took more than 2 weeks (not sure whether it was due to Voipo or my previous provider). Overall, I am glad I have switched to Voipo and their rate plans are best in the market. And I love their second cloned line option. I already recommended Voipo to few of my friends. Thanks Voipo.

I have been using VOIPo for about 2 years now. I came from CallVantage after they left the business. The service is as good or better with VOIPO. The price is certainly better and you don't give up anything for the fantastic price. In fact, I am more pleased than ever. No issues, sound is great, customer service is responsive, and it just flat works. Don't hesitate to take VOIPo for a spin! Cheers! WTH

A bargain when compared to Vonage. For a quarter of the price that Vonage charged me (with all their tack'd on fees) I basically get 3 lines from VoIPo. Tech Support is knowledgeable and speaks USA english. Their availability is somewhat limited, but not objectionably so. My number ported from Vonage to VOIPo precisely as described, and on-schedule. I *love* that they permit (but don't "support") a softphone as a 3rd device. I recommend VOIPo to my tech savvy friends; but not for gram & gramps.

After reading about VoIP, I took the plunge and moved my parent's landline with AT&T (had 18 years of service with them) over to VOIPO back in August 2010. The process was painless. It took about a week for the porting process to finish. VOIPO was in communication with us all during that time. We can also check via their website on our status. I can't say more about how excellent experience I had with their technical staff. They are professional and patience. I can email them or pick up the phone and talk to a live human being. My parent have not complained so far about the quality or service since the move. Which means, VOIPO is the same or even better than our existing landline service. My parent appreciated the calling ID feature very much. In my own experience, I love the features of VOIPO, especially their BYOD option. I traveled to some countries in Asia and Africa and was able to use my own VoIP softphone to call back to the US either via the computer or smartphone clearly. After signing up, I was able to use the SIP credentials to make calls ON THE SAME DAY! The adapter arrived 2 or 3 days later, all setup and ready to go. We live in California. It was sent from Texas. I have to say that my Internet connection/service plays a big factor also. Even in places where the Internet connection is slow, the stability of the service helped to maintain clear calls. The price is great, especially with a year-long contract. It is the best bang for the buck I have spent so far this year. I am not going back to landline again. There is even a 30-day guarantee. Take my word for what it's worth. I have been studying and using technology since the mid 90's. I can honestly say that this company is not perfect, but they doing something very right. Check out their forum also if you don't believe me.

I started as a beta tester of the service. The open dialog between VOIPo and their users in their forum is awesome. The features offered (some as stable beta features) are very robust, and cover many needs. Even if you just need an affordable phone service to simply make reliable calls, VOIPo is the best answer for the money.

Customer for over 2 years...... Pros: Good quality, reliability and cheap (especially w/ prepaid yearly plans). Outages are extremely rare and are usually resolved quickly. Their support reps are responsive and top notch. Lots of included/extra features....I especially like the inbound/outbound call route features which is great for blocking telemarketers and for speed dialing. Also, love the custom CID feature. Cons: Very few. They allow BYOD, but don't provide technical support. Some routers can be problematic with the ATA placed behind the router. This may require the customer to forward a large range of UDP ports to the ATA to alleviate firewall blocking issues.
