I must say I would recommend VoicePulse to everyone. Compared to the two other companies I
have dealt with (Vonage first, then myPhoneCompany) this company has been absolutely wonderful. I wish that I could give them a higher reading than 5 on everything. I've only had to call customer service twice and both times the issue was resolved in less than 5 minutes with very friendly, non-scripted, English speaking representatives. THANK YOU VOICEPULSE!!!!!!
It took a few days to get my shipment because I had to wait on address verification or e-911 service in my area. I also happened to hit a weekend so it seemed longer than it actually was. In reality it took about 3-4 business days. I considered Vonage, Packet8 and a few
others, but after reading reviews decided to go with VoicePulse based on the unique features that filtering with rules allow. I talked to Vonage and Packet8 customer service and both reps were breaking up from time to time, so I figured they were using their own voip services. VoicePulse reps were so clear, that I broke down after 2 or 3 calls (about features) and asked if the rep was talking on voip at the moment. He was and I was sold. The only down side is there customer support is not a 24X7 shop. Setup was about 30 secs for me. If you can plug in an answering machine or router, you can set it up. Service has been amazingly sharp. I'm only about 2 weeks into it but so far, so good. The management features are first rate, when you consider features that can be confirmed online. You can have rule-sets based on particular callers. It has all the features of most voip providers, plus filters for rules for treating or routing certain calls wherever you want based on the caller. Crystal clear, no hiccups yet. I'll try to post again later after I've had the service longer.
Service reliability and voice quality were occasionally very poor, usually ok. Customer
service was a nightmare despite being not too difficult to reach. Charged me for an adapter that I returned after initially insisting for a period of several weeks that they had credited me and it just hadn't posted yet. It was only $40, but I hate businesses that make these kinds of charges part of their business model.
Very good sound quality for the past one year on both our phones. Much better that Vonage.
Like the nicknames for the incoming calls. As service was good, my calls to customer service were very limited. Whenever I did call them, it was very prompt. No three way calling and they should add that. Wanted to switch due to lack of 3 way calling but stayed back due to voice quality.
We have had this service for over a year. We have been very happy with the service as well
as customer service. We do have the occasional outage and dropped call but overall for the price it isn't bad. We love the amount of features that are available, especially the do not disturb feature. Also I give VoicePulse a lot of credit for not charging a lot of the misc. charges that other companies are starting to charge. A couple of things that we do wish VoicePulse had was 911 calling and faxing. These are two areas we keep hoping that they provide in the future.
Voice Pulse Rocks! Thier price plans cant' be beat and the service is excellent! Had Sunrocket prior, was the worst!! Stay away at all costs. Sunrocket tells you that there is a wait before you can make calls of 7 days.
Had the service for 3 weeks, still no dial tone, could only receive calls, and the call quality was horrible, everyone I talked to
told me that I was breaking up, like being on a bad cell phone. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and hung in there as long as I could, 3 weeks, they told me stories like my cable modem was bad and I needed to contact my ISP and get a new modem, there was nothing wrong with the modem, Sunrocket just does not have their act together. And I couldn't even understand their customer service reps, they all sounded like they were from another country. Anyway, enough Sunrocket bashing, VoicePulse is flawless, customer service is A+, I had only one problem, the Netgear router they sent me was bad, so I returned it and got full credit, and purchased my own, linksys, which works fine. The BEST part about VoicePulse is that there are no fees, taxes, surcharges or any of that other crap, so the price they offer is what you pay. Get VoicePulse now!!! You won't be sorry.
Almost 1 year. For the first 8-9 months - no complains. Last 2 months - no dial tone daily. Poor outgoing sound. No weekend customer service. Nightmare. Going to switch.
I cancelled my order after I was informed by VoicePulse they had no adapters. CS was very good . Too bad, I think they would have been a good VOIP. Can't imagine them not having any adaptors or not knowing a supply is coming .
Just when you thought "customer service" was a thing of the past, along comes VoicePulse
and you remember how great things can be. My problem wasn't even their problem, it was my router. Regardless, they gave me instructions on what other customers with the same router (by the way Belkin Wireless Pre N and Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO DO NOT WORK WITH VOIP, save your money) were doing to get around the problem. They even followed -up later to make sure the service was working and I was satisfied. The features are great, even teleconferencing facilities, and I use it to fax as well. Sound quality is as good or better than POTS and the features are better. What a pleasure to do business with!!
This is a perfect as it gets! After a year and a half of P8 service
with two lines, it was time to look for more reliable service and
better features. With VoicePulse, I really have forgotten I'm on
VoIP at all. The voice mail system is astounding, the number of call
filtering and forwarding options are staggering and customer support
is quick and friendly. The experience is BETTER than POTS. Seven
digit dialing and Caller ID WITH Name are big hits in our household,
as is the ability to have a LOCAL phone number assigned. Our
previous provider didn't have any of those 3 things. You can't go
wrong at ALL with VP, and it keeps getting better all the time. It's
no small wonder that they're the absolute #1 provider in customer
satisfaction and quality every where you look. I also have another
line on their Open Access Plan, which is only $4.95 /mo. and it's
equally flawless.
I have been more than satisfied since starting service with
Voicepulse. As others have noted sound quality is excellent, with
only a couple of times hearing a slight echo. I live in Connecticut
and Florida. My main number is a Connecticut one, and local from
Voicepulse is the entire state! My POTS was only a few surrounding
towns. I added a virtual number for where I live in Florida so
family and friends there can call free. For only $4.99 it is a
bargain, plus we spend a lot of time there also, and it allows us to
call toll free to our home in Connecticut. Because you can change
settings via the web, I can call anyone in Connecticut from Florida
toll free by changing call forwarding to their number, then call my
own number and it goes to them. I think they need to have more hours
of operation for their customer service, but they have always been
courteous when I've had questions and do respond to emails fairly
promptly. I'm not sure why they don't advertise more, but I guess I
found them ok.
This is my first experience with VOIP and I must say I am extremely
impressed. After placing my order, I received my local number very
shortly afterwards and was able to log-on to my account. It was then
very easy to add a virtual number to my account. About 4 days later
I received my device in the mail, and was able to get everything
setup and make calls within about 5 minutes. The calls are extremely
clear, and I have not experienced any problems whatsoever with not
being able to hear the other person or any type of dropped calls.
Since I have had the device, there was one period where the service
was down for an extended period of time. I contaced Voicepulse, and
they were aware of the problem and said they were working a fix. A
few hours later, everything was working fine and they even called to
confirm that everything was working...now that is customer service.
However, one thing that bothers me about their customer service, is
that you can't get them by phone 24 hours. I have contacted them by
email on the weekends, and they are generally quick to respond, I
just wish they had 24 hour phone customer service.
All, in all this is a great service and I would highly recommend
this to anyone. It has saved my wife and I a lot of money, and they
benefits are great.
