I really love this product, it help me on my own home base business with so much rich features like "Follow me everywhere" and "Igonet2go" (use my cell phone to make long distance call for free). Some funny thing like "Music on hold" and "hunt group" is really great for my business.
Customer care service is absolutely amazing. I sign up on Sunday, Monday morning, I received a welcome call for customer service representative and Wednesday, I received my adapter. After 5 minutes, I was ready to called 40 countries around the world. I can manage all my features by my own consumer website and find who call me or where I called 5 minutes ago. I've got a chance to meet the co-owner of the company, John Ostime, and he gave me to much good feeling than I decided to join the company as an Independant Sales Representatives.
This service is targeted to Chinese users. Service to non-Chinese speakers is pretty low. I
gave up after waiting 20 minutes for customer service in English. Customer service replies to emails in several days. Reliability of connection is low. I usually have to dial a number several times to get through. Right now, the connection's not working at all (I have a dial tone, but my number is "temporarily not in service.")
From day one I could not use this service, it kept dropping calls constantly which mypeople
kept blaming on my ISP. *figures* So I switch from them to Vonage and there are no problems with dropped calls, the problem I am having is that mypeople held my number hostage until the 30 days was up after one of their customer service reps *noted our account* and told us we wouldn't be charged for it. So almost a month later our phone number still hasn't switched, mypeople sent us a bill anyway after saying they wouldn't we call and talk to a supervisor who was extremely rude and stated that "We don't care what our customer service rep noted on your account, she was wrong and you're gonna pay this bill and a termination fee". So we have filed a complaint with the BBB over it and will probably go to court, they were very unprofessional to say the least.
I've been reading the comments before choose italkbb.com. We've had italkbb for more than half a year, and have had no problem. We received the linksys phone adapter within 3-4 days from order. We had some small problems connecting it, and called customer service who walked me through it (was actually much easier to connect than I thought). After updated
the firmware of our wireless router, I was hooked up instantly. The phone worked right away, with the new number, and the number switch from Qwest took about 3 weeks. The good points: Price, obviously; Features, including all kinds of advanced phone features, like caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding, etc. also support e911 and fax. There is no "special" type of phone you need, Just used our old 2.4mhz phone, and it works fine. Customer service was great, for me, I got through pretty quickly, and the person helped me set it up quickly with no problems. The bad: I haven't found any. I don't get bad echoes or anything. Sound quality is great and very reliable. I have been calling my family and friends oversea almost every day. I realize that this is new technology. I have had no interference with my internet usage. For the price (less $25/month including long distance to US, Canada, and 20+ countries!!!), If you have family in China you can even get a Chinese number. This is a great plan and service.
This is the coolest phone service around. I never thought a telephone could be so fun. My
People have something big... HUGE. They have something different and exciting that people want. I got a free month of service with My People by entering a some promo code I found on the internet. This service is definitely worth checking out!!!
This is a fun phone and I love showing it to my friends. I pick up the phone in the morning and it tells me the weather, or stocks, or whatever. It's easy to use, and I'm still getting surprised with features that I didn't know I had. And Customer Service is really helpful.
I cannot comment on the service, I never received the equipment. The communication with
this company is horrible. I even wonder if they really provide service, maybe a hoax. When calling tech support for a status update, they do not transfer to sales, but instead they send a message via fax (according to the person that answers the phone). A sales person finally contacted me, but told me my equipment was lost in the mail. I asked for tracking info, he kept telling me tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, so two weeks later, no equipment, no service. I asked for a refund, but I still don't have that. SO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I have no idea what the service is like, but as for a company I dont think they will last long, if it really exists.
I cant imagine a worse service. I've waited since Sept for a local number. When I enquire on their site, personnel just toy with me. They always say they will get back to me, and never, not once ever, did. Recently their service was down for days. One can have no confidence in these people. I continue with them only because I paid annually and have no confidence they would return my money if I quit them.
I was astonished that within a few minutes I had a dial tone my first try. In our area, our landlines have to dial the area code and number...so when I first picked up and dialed a number I got a busy signal, duh?!?! I had forgotten to only use 7 digit dialing YEAH!! It's a lot easier, with outstanding features, saves me a ton of money-at least $40/month. Plus I am not sure about others, but with Champion Communications it is a FLAT FEE no hidden costs $26.45/month. I enjoy talking to my family everyday now without worrying about cell phone overages!!
We ordered the service on December 2, 2005 and never received the equipment. Never received any return calls, unable to ever contact a person on the telephone, never received a response to e-mails, cancelled service but still have not received a refund of our money.
Customer service Not very knowledgable, always want to blame it on the ISP for poor voice quality and call delivery. Could not solve problems.. I went to Packet 8, and service is great.. VOIP Michigan, I can not say enough bad about them.. Value for your money, absolutely not..
They will not give me a local telephone number even though they advertised that they had local numbers in my city. They will not give me the free virtual number as promised. Caller ID with name does not work. They will not answer the phone, I have waited on hold for more than 30 minutes on multiple occasions. I was using the live chat on there website, but now it doesn't work either.
Was told that I would receive a full refund upon return of product. Have not received the
refund as of yet and now, the story is the refund will not be in full. The salesman obviously told an untruth to sell the product. Make sure that you will save by using this product before ordering it.
