I have had myphonecompany for several years now and they have been very reliable. I can
only remember one time that they were off. Unfortunately they did not email or try to
contact us about the outage. I had to make several calls to finally find out that it was
there problem. And after they got us us up and running a few days later, they then sent out
an email about the outage. :( They should have done that a lot sooner. I wish they offered
some other rate plans. I also moved and changed from cable to DSL with out much problem.
OMG!!, I wish I had read these reviews before signing up. I get a dial tone, but get a busy signal
when trying to dial out. Can't get a hold of anyone to help me. multiple e-mails, online forms. NO
EVENING OR WEEKEND SUPPORT. Tried calling on my second line (which does work) and they
just refer you to their website and just hang up. You have to call from a number not with them to
get through (priority to new/non customers). When you do get through, they are helpful and polite,
but I want 24/7 support so because of the support issue, I'm going to switch to Vonage.
I ordered VOIP unlimited International from myPhoneCompany over six months ago and have
had great service every since. I have not had bad connections or bad run ins with customer service like I had with another company which begins with a V. I signed up and never looked back! Thanks for the service and selection at the great price!
I had their service for little over a year then there would be times when the service went
out couldn't get through to support. Never answered emails. Went to cancel service that even took forever, even when you do get a response from them they respond like they have no sense. I was happy with the support in the beginning but it went downhill from there. Also when you call the toll free number on the box you get an answering service. Be warned in advance stay away from this company. It will only give you a headache. I had switch to viatalk. Very happy with their service, Awesome support!
I have had this service for almost a year now, and have only had phone problems 1 time, I was
able to contact customer service thru the phone, and thru email and with both contacts I was helped with NO problem, they walked me thru the problem and I haven't had any since. Its great having the Virtual numbers too, because I can still have my children call me from out of state and not have them or myself pay for outrageous long distance bills. Thanks MYPHONECOMPANY!
Ordering, delivery, and setup were all very easy and fast--no problems. THEN...a few weeks
into the first month I had no service. No phone for 3 days. Could not get through to the customer service 800 number, it only directed me to the website and then disconnected, after being on hold for 20mins. The web site "could not be found", and all the emails I sent to them came back to me stating "address does not exist". Then all of a sudden the phone was back on. As far as sound quality, it sounded like you were talking on a CB radio. There was a big time delay. And customer service, all I can say is, what customer service? They don't exist. I could not even get through to cancel the account. I had to stop payment on my card, which costs money. So, would I recommend myPhoneCompany? Definately NOT.
When the phone is working I love it. But if you have any problems with the service forget getting any help. I have e-mailed them 5 times the past 2 weeks about having no service or dial tone and haven't gotten any help. When I call from another phone to talk with someone they keep me on hold and then in the end a message tells me to e-mail them about my problem. The problem that I am having may be a simple one but I can't get any help to find out. So, no I wouldn't recommend them because their customer service STINKS!!!!
No amount of savings can pay for my lost personal time and business time trying to get help.
They have none. I have read the other reviews and want to re-iterate this point. I have stuck with them for 9 months believing their service would improve, but it has been 2 business days since I downloaded and paid for their softphone service...it won't work and there is NOBODY HOME! Their customer service, (even pre-sales support) doesn't answer and their system hangs up on you after referring you to their website...and they don't answer their email!! Anyone wanting to use VOIP for anything reliable would not choose this company.
Absolutely NO customer service and surly, hard-to-reach tech support
do not make up for the features and the price. We will be canceling
after less than a month.
MyPhoneCompany has NO customer service. I don't mean that
occasionally you get through to someone. I mean they have no one to
answer your call. Emails about billing and canceling details are
answered quickly, but tech support, forget it... you will NEVER talk
to a real person so don't bother trying. If you happen to have no
problems with setup or service, you will probably like their VOIP,
but if anything goes wrong, don't count on ever getting any help for
it.
