Reviewers Comments: The basic idea behind Nuvio is great, but their execution is miserable. The phones work
consistently about 90% of the time....which sounds good, but a ~10% failure rate mean a lot
of dropped calls. Not exactly stellar for business phones. Frankly, we're willing to deal with
that trade off for the value, features, etc., except that their SERVICE IS THE WORST I have
ever encountered. Their tech support (with rare exception) barely even understands the
underlying technology (I'm a technology consultant and I often have to explain things to
them), but most importantly, they are non-responsive and apathetic. They must have a ton of
subscribers of have made their money someplace else, because they really don't seem to
care about me.
The latest thing is that I have an employee who left and so I therefore no longer need his
extension. I called billing to cancel the line. They took down all of the information and I got
an email confirmation that a 'ticket' had been created. After 2 days, I replied via email to get
a confirmation that the line had been cancelled and was told that, oops, we only accept
cancellations via mail and that it had to be certified! I AM ONLY CANCELLING ONE LINE
OFF MY ACCOUNT! Even if that's the case - why couldn't the first person I spoke with tell
me...or why didn't someone respond to the open ticket? Their customer service basically
sucks. Spotty service that you cannot get support on makes for a very bad situation - these
guys are definitely not ready for prime time. If you're a real business, I would stay as far as
away as possible from these guys. I'll be cancelling my account as soon as I can get my
numbers ported. |
