Dialing new 12 digit Phone Numbers in India

I was trying out Packet8 VoIP Phone Service and one of the problems I just ran across is that it won't connect phone calls to India if the number dialed is one of the new 12 digit numbers issued there within the last year. Do the other VoIP Providers have the same problem, or can I just switch to another VoIP Solution to avoid this technical snafu?

Hi Gaurav,

I've not heard about this problem before with Packet8 VoIP broadband phone service. I would recommend that you should contact Packet8 technical support directly (technicalsupport@packet8.net). There is no guarantee that this problem would disappear with another provider. It is possible that it may actually be the VoIP to PSTN gateway in India.

Any other VoIP internet phone users out there had the same issue or one similar when calling to another country outside the US?
