Will Router be a problem???

Im using router and I wish to go for Voip connection....Will I face any problem if i go for Voip????

Not normally - I certainly have never had a problem with mine at home.

The setup is important here so make sure you follow the instructions the provider gives you. Normally the safest option is to place the Broadband Modem then the VoIP ATA and phone followed by the router and PCs. This ensures Quality of Service where the ATA can throttle the data connection to ensure you get optimum voice quality.

However some folk on this forum have indicated (I have not confirmed this by the way) that when you do this setup with Sunrocket your data speed takes a hit even when you are not on the phone.

Anyone else with Sunrocket noticed this or not?
