    I am a new user of VOIP technology.can anyone tell me what if the difference between DID and virtual number.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply. So DID and Virtual numbers are the same and we can connect that to our primary lines, am i right?

    Similar. Yes they are mapped to your primary line. Note that virtual numbers are incoming only though.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply. I finally conclude that DID or virtual number is only for receiving calls which can also be attached to your primary line.

    DID number is acsess number for calling cards , it's a local number
