With VoIP, can we keep our current phone numbers?

When we switch to voip are we able to keep our current phone numbers? How about a switch for a residential customer, are they able to keep their phone number?

Hello Deb,

Most VoIP providers allow you to transfer your current phone number to your new VoIP service, assuming your current phone service provides that service (which I believe they have to by law). You can use our advanced search and check the "Number Portability" option. The results will return all VoIP providers that provide this option (55 plans!).
