Default Sun Rocket Sucks which has better sound quality.

I have been with Sun Rocket since last 3 months. Their sound quality is really bad and customer service is even worst. I have "one way" or "pause" for few seconds during almost each call. My internet is cable modem which came up with good speed after suggested speed test.
Sun Rocket tech support changed QOS but nothing worked.
Now I am thinking to cancel the service after 3 weeks of problem.
Which companies have good sound quality with no contract or I will have to go back to POTS.
Any Good experience or expert opinion please

Sorry to hear about your bad voip experience. Seems like a strange problem. Unfortunately this is not the first time we have had comments regarding the sunrocket customer service. I'm assuming you don't have any bandwidth consuming applications running on your network when you are making these calls?

If you decide to cancel, then I would recommend that you give voip one last try. Voicepulse has been our highest rated provider for as long as I can remember. They have been highly ranked by a number of customers who state that the sound quality is excellent. You can also try for 30 days with a money back guarantee. Check out the reviews before you decide:

Hope this was of some help to you. Please feel free to rant and ask more questions.

Thank you for your expert advice. I don't see any bandwidth issues. My setup is cable modem-->Gizmo-->router --->PC. Speed test comes really good around 3 MB and upload 246 kbps which is more than DSL speed.
I would like to go with VOIP but got bad experience. I will give a try to your recommendations.

    Default VoIP Connection Test

Sorry to hear about your problems with SunRocket.
I tried 3 providers before I found one that worked well for me.
NetVoce / Dan McNew was an absolutely horrible experience.
Vonage was good, however, they could not port my numbers.
I finally found VoIP YourLife and I am very happy with the sound
quality and the customer service they provide.
A Vonage tech taught me how to change the baud rate on my HP fax.
For some reason HP is the only one that allows for this....
Dennis, at VoIP Your Life, showed me how to change the settings on
the adapter for my dedicated fax line and I have had absolutely flawless
    faxing ever since.
I have all my phones, modems, and adapters on
UPS & AVR back-up batteries for more consistency and reliability.
    I hope this helps,
    Steve
P.S. Oopps. I Nearly forgot the reason I responded.
I found an amazing site for testing your system for VOIP compatibilty:
    http://myvoipspeed.visualware.com/
Tests for Jitter, Packet Loss, Quality of Service, and MOS Score.
    Enjoy your VOIP,
    Steve
