is race technologies a real voip provider?

please help me because i don't know if this is a real voip provider, is in race.com they offer an 19.95 unlimited calls plan to usa or canada with a number in usa with no setup fee and BYOD activation... is this true

I've never heard of them but they have a web site that's about all I know. If you are in doubt then go with someone else, there is plenty of choice out there. Have a look here for all plans that have unlimited coverage of the US and Canada.

yes, well i think the problem is, if someone else use this service provider and use his credit card and is not a true voip provider... we are here to help us, to find a better expirience in voip services, i just say ¿does anybody know this company?, they say they was in bussines from 1996... and look like is a big company.. is weird no one know nothing about this company

Looking at the race.com web-site, and I may be wrong, but it seems like they have specialized on the business voip arena, with solutions based on the Cisco Linksys box. They are also doing hosted voip for small businesses. Having provided these services, it would not take much to provide a residential solution.

I cannot recommend for or against them, but if they are advertising a residential voip service, then I would say, yes they are a genuine voip provider. They obviously don't have a brand name for residential voip right now, but that may change in a few months with a good advertising campaign.

We are constantly seeing new residential voip providers as there is a low barrier to entry. The bigger questions are, what features they provide, what is the cost, what is the quality of service like, do they have customer service. If they have a 30 day money back guarantee then your risk is reduced and if you are set on these guys them give them a try. Otherwise read our reviews and find what is best for you.
