What is mobile voip?
How does is it beneficial?
Can somebody explain this to me.

Not quite sure what you mean here. Do you mean VoIP over WiFi, cordless, mobile in that you can take the VoIP ATA anywhere in the world?

Mobile Voip is being able to use your voip service from any landline from any place around the world.It is certainly beneficial, if u ask me , Michelle.
I stumbled on a voip provider called allo.com. They have this feature. You may check www.allo.com under features.

That is VoIP by definition Thomas :-)

Mobile VoIP in my mind refers to wireless VoIP. For this there is quite a push to Voice over Wireless Local Area Network (VoWLAN). We recently wrote a blog on this if you are interested:

Of course if you use an ATA and plug into a cordless base voila you have mobile VoIP.

Also note you can use VoIP over your cell phone with calling cards and with the push to WiMAX you will likely see a strong push for Mobile VoIP.
