Fax with no phone?

Currently, I have cable connection for my Internet. I do not use phones except cell. Can I tie into my cable connection in order to start using my fax machine which I want to purcase shortly? If yes, how complicated is this procedure?

The only option I know for you if you don't have a phone number is to use something called efax http://www.telebay.com/marcone/efax.html
this lets you send and receive faxes via your PC.

The cheapest plan is only $5.95 per month from Zingotel, it may be cheaper than efax. If you do go for a VoIP line I'd recommend choosing your VoIP service first and then ask them which fax machines they support.
