Default Does Faxing work over a VoIP service?

If we use a VoIP Telephone Provider to do Faxing can we expect it to be reliable and readable [close to a photocopy]? Thank you

As long as you pick a VoIP provider that supports fax (and you may want to check they support your fax machine as I believe there are a few different formats used). The quality should be no different than with your normal telephone connection as far as I understand. I have not used voip for faxing myself though.

You can use our free advanced search option to find which VoIP providers support fax, at the following location:

    Best Regards,

Default I'm currently experiencing flawless faxing

I'm now experiencing flawless faxing using an HP.
I'm not necessarily an HP fan, however, it is working for me.
I'm using a dedicated fax line through VOIP YourLife.
Dennis at VoIP YourLife helped me recalibrate my fax line adapter.
Baud Rate is best at 9600 baud.
Also, turn off Automatic Error Correction.
    I hope this helps,
    Steve
P.S. When I get to my office, I will post the instructions for changing the baud rate.
