Default Direct TV TiVO and VoIP?

On my current phone line I have direct TV satellite and cable TV with tivo as well as a regular phone and dsl broadband all connected to my PC with a wireless network. The vontage literature I've read indicates that they can not accomodate my setup. Is this true of all the services? What service can I use?

Thanks for your help in this mater .

Best to contact the provider but yes most struggle with this configuration. Vonage has some info on this on-line though and the series 2 TIVO has had some success working with VoIP ATA:

Not ideal but one other option would be to keep a regular landline for your Direct TV, tivo etc at the lowest rate possible then use one of the VoIP providers for your calls. If you make a lot of long distance calling you may find that you still save money.

Myself and my 2 roomates got the following:

    1. Comcast cable.
    2. 3Com wireless router.
    3. Tivo.
    4. My packet 8 (that doesn't work right now...)

The Tivo talks to the 3Com box via wireless.

    Everything works great.

Thanks for the info, good to know. Some others have had sporadic problems with their Tivo and VoIP - good luck with the packet8 problems. They are fairly well reviewed on this site so I'm surprised you've been having problems with them.
