    Default ATA for each Phone?

I have several phone extensions on my current telephone line. How can I keep these extensions?

Do I need an ATA for each phone? Does that mean I have to have a cable line in each room I have an extension? If so isn't this going to get expensive?

    Thanks in advance,

One method people use for getting around this problem is by using cordless phones. You would have the base station plugged into your VoIP ATA and then have your cordless phones distributed around your house in your required locations.
Cordless phones are very common and reasonably priced these days and provides a cheap, quick and easy option.
