Skype has reportedly been playing Big Brother for the Chinese government. According to a story today by TelecomTV, the VoIP outfit recently apologized after its monitoring and storage of text chats to watch for “suspicious” communications were found out. Rumor has it that Skype agreed to the arrangement to get into the Chinese government’s good graces.
