Ordering was ok and straight forward. Sounded great - tech would be out and set me up - get access to the internet, set up my free email accounts and security as well as set up the free wireless router. Day of install - tech was late, dressed in jeans, had a pickup truck and was totally unprofessional. He did not have the wireless router, (or he kept it personally) did not know how to set up email, did not know how to install the anti-virus, he made me sign something on his cell phone but I had no copy, he said all the paperwork and the paper I signed would be sent to me from Time Warner - it's been 3 weeks now - still no paperwork, still no email, once he left, I could not get on the internet. required calls to them - unable to help - called a friend out of town that helped me get in. The entire experience has been extremely frustrating! Now they tell me I have to pay a monthly fee for wireless (although the original promotion said I would get a 'free' wireless router. Email - I was out of town when I called them and they said I need the MAC address of our modem before they can set up my email. I have never been treated so poorly and unprofessionally. Deffinitely not recommended. I am very patient and have tried to work through the issues, and be as forgiving and gracious ... but this is close to a ridiculous circus.

I just recived my letter that my rate would be in increasing from 19.95 to 24.95 in less then a month from now. They also suggested in that letter that I call Time warner to bundle with them. That sounds like a good idea then I can be charged one big price for all three services over time. Now theres a plan. I was very happy with the service for 19.95 a month and an 1.00 increase now and then I can justify but 5.00!!! I dropped Time Warners cable because the programming is limited for the money and the rate was increasing. I have direct tv now and like programming better although their rates go up quite often too. It seems the consumer is getting squeezed at every turn I for one will not go down without a fight.

Let me start with ordering of service. I ordered online from one of the offer so after week of ordering when I contacted customer service, they are really not having my order number in system and for this information they transferred me like 10 times so I talked like 10 representative and explain them again and again. so after some time I got their national center number and I decide to try last time and finally their national center was having my order number. now i made appointment for installation and when he came to home for installation, he did not make installation in the room which i wanted, "(i really dont know the reason, may be thats easy for him to setup)" now about service and connection. i was having always trouble with connection in afternoon and internet is very imp for me as i work from home. they took like 1 week to make it work and after a month or so same thing happened again, what a crap, and at the last, worst thing for me i have only one option for internet other then time warner. I have decided to try another service but scare for again contacting customer for that service too :)

I have spent the last month trying to get them to fix my intermittent loss of service...sometimes I lose service hours...they are uninterested...I've spoken with a supervisor...but to reach anyone higher I have to leave my number and wait for them to contact me...this says a lot that except for the initial contacts I cannot contact anyone else...service is extremely poor but what do I do...its the only cable provider in the city and I want fast service...which by the way is faster all over the nation than it is in Arlington, Tx.
