I used to have sunrocket before, thank god for this website. Read the reviews on this sight about voipyourlife, called up and spoke to customer service to see if they were really based here in the U.S. and see if they were knowledgeable and friendly, short hold time, had a knowledgeable rep, and they are based out of Oklahoma. I ordered the service for the one year which supposedly gives me a 10% discount so I paid after the FCC fee and taxes about 324 and some change for the year. I am a bit skeptical especially after what happened with sunrocket after pre-paying for the year in advance but I feel that it is still waaaayyy cheaper then going with the phone companies or time warners digital phone……

97% of the time I have clear, excellent audio quality. Rarely I will experience some distortion or echo but it never lasts throughout the entire call. For the most part Lingo is just the same as having the land line when it comes to the quality of the calls and the use of the features……

I was with Sunrocket but my service stopped working and they could never fix it. I guess now I know the reason as they are about to go out of business. I am very impressed with the call quality and features Viatalk have, they are certainly comparable if not better than sunrocket and for $199 for two years I am delighted. I would highly recommend giving them a try.

This is my first time using VoIP and based upon the reviews that I read here, I gave VoIP Your Life a try. It has been a breeze! I am not computer savvy at all, so I postponed setting up the system until a stress free Saturday morning with a piping hot pot of coffee. I had one minor problem (because I did not know the difference between a modem and a router) which customer service helped me with quickly. I was up and running before I finished my first cup of coffee. It took about 4 weeks for my old home number to “port” over and it has been a great experience! Calls are of high quality and system consistently works, unless Road Runner goes down……which is not VoIP Your Life’s fault. I highly recommend this to everyone.

This a good company that provides excellent deals and by far the best calling features. once I called tech support because I wanted to set up my home network and they not only helped with the phone but walked me through the entire process of network building. Thank you! Now that SunRocket is also in trouble (just fired 25% of its workforce including executives) voip.com seems to be the strongest company in the industry. I can honestly recommend using them.

I’ve had this almost 2 months and got this service even though people were putting it down. I’ve found out that reviews are most of the time people who don’t know how to use a computer or anything about computers. I’ve had the best service you can get NOBODY AND I MEAN NOBODY KNOWS I AM ON VOIP, THE SOUND IS CLEAR NO DROPPED CALLS EVEN WHEN 3 COMPUTERS ARE WATCHING STREAMING MOVIES AT THE SAME TIME, and I only paid 99$ for the first year of service. For some reason this form don’t like Sunrocket but there’s other forms with people who love it. I hook my phone adaptor they give you to the cable modem then I hook my wireless router in the back of there box, they tell you if you have a router to plug it into the router, well I know a lot about computers and that’s why I hooked mine up the way I did, and that’s why I run 3 computers at the same time and use the phone and there’s no difference at all. THIS IS THE BEST OUT THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU CAN FIND BAD STUFF ABOUT ALL VOIP COMPANIES, THAT’S BECAUSE PEOPLE BLAME 98% ON THE COMPANY AND MOST OF IT IS THE INTERNET PROVIDER OR THE PEOPLE TRYING TO USE IT.

As a Vonage user for a couple of years, I was close to returning to hard line ATT. Vonage was AWFUL. Horrible customer service after long wait times and the service was ridiculously unreliable. Based on some reviews, I gave VOIPYOURLIFE a crack and I couldn’t be happier. My God, you call their customer service and you not only don’t get long wait times, YOU GO DIRECT to a native English speaking person who is very helpful. Geez, who are these guys? This is too good to be true. I checked the dial tone frequently just to see if it was there for a while and it is always working. Voice quality is almost indistinguishable from a land line. highly recommended.

These guys are great. US based tech/cust service says it all. Patient, courteous, genuinely interested in taking care of your needs - an almost lost art these days. Great support, great quality. Have had about 2 weeks. I use Soft phone and ATA. When I’m on the SoftPhone I am told it sounds like Carnegie Hall!! I use a Ligitech headphone with it - superb. I also just got my adapter and I am testing it out. I had an issue hooking it up with my router but cust support was there for me, and patiently guided me thru it and didn’t rush me thru it. Great guys!!!

This voip.com is my first phone that works with internet. For over 4 months I haven’t had any problems and the quality is better than my regular phone was. I don’t really use all the features, what matters is that the calls are crystal clear. I’m very happy with voip.com here in Kentucky.

There’s simply nothing to say! This company has excellent voice quality, no dropped calls, crisp sound for international calls and best of all its extremely economical. I was nervous about getting a VoIP service from a US company being based in Canada… but its been one of the best decisions I have made. The customer service has been exceptional and only once was I charged for a 51min international call which I did not make, and the customer rectified my bill immediately with absolutely no questions! I just have 3 words for all of you folks…”GO FOR IT!!!”

I’ve called customer service twice and both times the rep was really helpful and really knew what they were talking about. We have experienced a couple of outages of the few months we have had service. But for the price, features and long distance, we cant afford to not use this. The on-line features on their website are great. The setup was easy. I did have to make a call to tech support though. Their tech was knowledgeable and helped me get underway in a matter of minutes. We were also able to transfer our existing number to SunRocket which was great!

I finally decided to try voip based on my friend’s recommendation. I picked Voip.com because I liked what they promised. Good choice, the box came fast and it was easy to install (well, my boyfriend did it:). It’s working just like my old normal phone, the quality is also just as good and it’s a lot cheaper. Bottom line: good service, lots of savings. Features are cool too.
